Reported By: Kendall.   La Porte, Texas.   January 8  2007.
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location:   La Porte, near Gulf Waters   Date:  12/06   Time: PM   Number Of Objects:  1  Object's Shape:   Triangle   Additional Information:  The object had lights and had an aura or haze around it and became transparent and faded
Event Description:
On a daily basis my friends and I have witnessed three very unexplainable light sightings in the sky, over the water. [Sylvan Beach]
Tonight was most noticeable, we were driving down Fairmont Parkway, going under HWY 146 and noticed the same lights that all of us
have seen for about the past month or so. We then became interested and started to converse about it. My friend’s mother even had
seen the light before. She also became alarmed by this object.
We saw two bright lights in the sky and one dim one underneath them, forming the shape of a triangle. Right before we stepped into
McDonald's my friend noticed one bright light beginning to fall into what it looked like the water. We were confused to the point that
we were frightened of this experience, yet curious. When we left the restaurant, we saw the lights again. That is when we began to
investigate. We went as close to the lights as we could, which was Sylvan Beach. We sat by the water for about 15 minutes just
observing. We then saw the lights dimming, like they noticed we were watching nearby. They faded in to little specks and eventually
disappeared. While doing this they conjoined and disconjoined repeatedly. When we arrived at my friends’ house, we were very curious
and began researching, this is when we fell upon this website, we also read about the same sightings, and as far as I’m concerned my
friends and I think that someone should investigate professionally. This might sound crazy but, we think that it is possible there be
another species of some kind that has not yet been discovered, maybe even known as aliens.

Reported By:  Lynda L.  El Paso, Texas.   January 7. 2007
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: El Paso  Date: 12/14/06 Time: 7 PM  Witnesses:  2  Number Of Objects:  1  Object's Shape:  Green Fireball

Event Description:

While driving in el Paso down Wedgwood street, I was talking to my daughter on the cell phone when I saw a green light like a ball
flying through the sky heading west. It had a noise and it zoomed through the sky heading west. Then it disappeared or exploded.

When I told my daughter who was on the cell phone. I could not believe it. I am 63 years old and never believe in UFO's or saw one.
I would like to know if someone else in El Paso saw it.

I have had psychic or paranormal events since the sighting.

Reported By Autumn W. and Erik G. - Austin, Texas - October 23, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Austin, Texas - Date: October 18, 2006 - Time: 1:30 AM -
County Sighting Took Place: Travis - Witnesses: 2 - Number Of Objects: 1 - Object's Shape: Triangle - Object had lights - Object hovered -  Object became transparent - Psychic Paranormal Happenings: Yes I have had psychic or paranormal events since the sighting
Event Description:
I honestly do not understand what is going on here. I am not a UFO fanatic, so I am puzzled by what I have seen. I have seen two strange occurrences in the last week. The UFO sighting with my boyfriend as I was picking him up from work late after his security shift and a falling object as I was running the track near where I live. I have posted my sighting on another website, so the information is already composed, so here is the sighting that both of us believe we saw:
Direction approaching from:
The object was headed south (example ... parallel to Mopac South Hwy, but not over Mopac...just as a directional guide).

Direction of departure of object:
The object then turned slightly to a southwest direction.

Direction witnesses were facing:
We were facing the East and the object came from our left line of sight.

Detailed description of sighting:
As we were entering our apartment complex, we parked our car and stepped into the street, intending to cross over it toward our apartment.

We took a minute and stood in the middle of the street to look up at the stars, just admiring our surroundings. At the time I (Autumn) was facing the North and Erik was facing the East.

He pointed out the object, saying "Look, what is that?" I turned and we saw the object moving faster than a commercial plane, but making absolutely no sound, in a south direction.

Then, when the object was at a certain point above a specific tree (from our line of sight) it turned slightly heading more a westerly direction and looked as if it were moving parallel to the top edge of our apartment building.

We both turned and started running to the West keeping our eyes on the object. It began to pick up speed as we were starting to run. Then, unfortunately, a large tree obscured our view and when we passed the tree the object was no longer there. It was almost as if it had vanished.

Color, shape and other descriptions:
The shape was that of an obtuse triangle, with round (slightly elliptical) faint lights lining the triangle (possibly 8-10 on the whole air craft). They were of a soft blue - grey (somewhat fluorescent) color and they were alternating brighter and dim. The actual color of the object is unclear to us, because we concluded that the lights are really what defined the shape. The body almost blended in with the black night sky and had a hint of grey to it.

Estimated height and speed of approach and departure:
Relatively low to the ground, maybe 500-1000 ft. and was flying faster than a civilian airliner (but keep in mind that the object was lower to the ground than a civilian airliner). The best word to describe its movement in the beginning of our sighting is that it was hovering. It then doubled its speed as it was departing and then vanished or camouflaged itself or we just lost sight of it. We are just not really sure.

Falling object sighting – 10/23/06 at 9:40 p.m.
As I was running the track in my neighborhood, I saw what looked like a bright ball of bright neon green light plummet to the ground off in the far distance. The object was round, but had no tail and it was rather large from my line of sight. It did not move at an angle, but rather straight down into a residential area. It basically looked as if it had come out of nowhere and as it entered the atmosphere it was visible. I don't really know but that is my best guess. Also, I heard no explosions are any abnormal sounds as it was moving or after it landed.

Again this is all very strange and DEFINITELY new to me and my boyfriend.

Reported By: Rhonda R. - Houston, Texas - January 25, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Spring, Texas - Zip Code: 77373 - Date: 1975 - Time: 9:00 - 10:00 PM - Witnesses: 4 - Number of Objects: 1 - Objects Shape: Disk -  Object had lights - Object had an Aura or Haze around it - Object Hovered  - There was interference associated with the object - There were High Voltage Power Lines in the area - Additional Information: Hardy Toll Rd. and 1960 Intersection
Event Description:
It was 1975, I was 10 yrs old and my older brother was 12. My mother was taking my brother and myself back home to our Dad's in Spring, Texas.

We came to a stop signal at the intersection of 1960 on Hardy Rd. (its now the Toll Rd) While we were stopped at the light, my Mother pointed out to us an object across the intersection above a billboard, hovering. It was not moving, just sitting there in the sky, about 20 to 30 ft up.

When the light changed green for us to go, we pulled across the intersection to the side of the road and we all got out. We stood there underneath the object looking up at it. It did not make any noise at all that I remember, but the radio had static, and it seemed as if the channels were changing.

The object was like a disk shape, with a dome, there was like a smoky haze around it, and there were lights, but I only remember white lights around the bottom, flashing. There were no windows, just this round disk shaped object with a dome on top and white shining lights that were flashing.

My Mother put us all back into the truck and proceeded to take us down Hardy Rd. to my Dad's. As we pulled back onto the road and got going, the object suddenly started to move along side us at the same speed and the same distance in the sky (20 to 30 ft). When we came upon Lynnwood St., we turned and the object as well followed, above us still at the same speed.

As we approached closer to my Dad's house, the object suddenly shot straight through the woods and disappeared, we were all amazed and puzzled and a little scared at the same time, but as a kid we were also excited.

When we arrived at my Dad's house in North Hills Estates, the object was hovering over our house now about 50 to 60 ft in the air.  My Mother ran to get my Dad, who then came outside along with my stepmother and all of us stood there and watched it. It did nothing but hover there not making any such noise.

All of a sudden the object shot straight up into the air and disappeared. I have never again to this day had any other kind of sighting that I am aware of.

If anyone else has had any such kind of sighting of this kind either in 1975 or current in this area, I would be thrilled to know. My family does not have any explanation as to what we really saw.

We all still talk about it to this very day.

Reported By: Trey H. - Austin, Texas - October 30, 2005

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Austin, Texas - Date: October 15 and 16, 2005 - Zip Code: 78753 - County Sighting Took Place: Travis - Time: 2:30 AM - Witnesses: 2 - Number of Objects: 2 - Object's Shape: "Unknown" -  Object had lights - Object emitted beams of light - Object changed colors -   Object hovered - Additional Information: Eastern sky East of Austin -
Event Description:
On 10/15/05 my Daughter and I were outside looking at stars at about 1:00 AM.

We noticed something in the night sky which was flashing Red and Green lights. We thought it was an airplane so we paid it no mind. about 10 minutes later, it was still there.

I went in and got a small pair of binoculars and we looked at it. When we did it went dark. In about 30 seconds, it was extremely bright and we could see white, green, red and blue lights all flashing. The object didn't move for over an hour.

We went inside for a few minutes and when we came back out, we saw two of them probably 10-20 miles apart flashing their lights in sequence. We watched them for about 20-30 minutes, just hovering. They were probably 20-30 miles from us so we never got a close up view of their shape.

On 10/16/05 I went outside about 2:30 AM and saw the same object further this time, but still flashing colorful lights.

UFO? I dunno, but awfully strange and interesting. Hopefully I will get a better view in the next few days.

Event Description:
Went outside to feed the dogs, and as I turned around to walk back into the house, I noticed a very bright light moving west through the night sky.

At first, I thought it was just an airplane, but then I noticed that it was way too high for an aircraft. There were patchy clouds in the sky, so it was hard to keep track of it. But as it come out from behind a cloud, it had reversed direction and was heading back towards the East.

I ran into the house and got my wife and two kids to see it. We watched it till it was no longer visible.

There is a military air base near where we live, and we did not notice any of their jets in the area that night. Nor did we hear any take off or land that night.

Have you had any other reports from the area (Cibolo, TX)? We are located just to the north of San Antonio, TX

Editor's Note: To date, the database here on Mystical Universe does not have any additional reports from Cibolo, Texas. Yours is the First!

Event Description:
My husband and I were approaching home when I noticed a bright white line of light in the skies straight ahead.  I commented calmly to my husband that this was the kind of light that I saw in several UFO pictures that I have recently been researching on line.

My husband backed the car up to see what I was looking at.  He then said, "Hmm, I
have seen that several times in the sky." He also commented, "Let's just sit and watch it" and he said, "I bet once it notices us, it will dim out."

As we watched the object became more elongated in the sky (kinda) of like a long lamp light. It appeared elongated and vertical to the street and looked as if it was separating or dimming out.

It slowly began to dim to a smaller light that at one point appeared like a point of light.  The object was a weird light, whitish cloudy in appearance and remained in the sky. We could not really determine it's shape.

My husband then said, "If you think that's something, look at the light moving underneath." The light that was stationery now in the sky, after changing from the long elongated object.

What I then saw was a very long, brightly lit object that my husband said must have been about 3 foot ball fields in length.  This object was moving in a south direction across the sky in front of us.  We measured it between two light poles to determine it's movement and stood and watched it move out of our sight behind some 2 story houses out of view.

The path it was taking, if it continued on course, would be directly to the Gulf Waters. This second object just appeared out of nowhere after the first light dimmed, to the point of light.

The object remained a solid long light moving horizontal to the street.

This was a very clear sky with no other noticeable clouds in the evening sky, except the object that first caught my attention.

This is not the first strange unexplained sighting both me and my husband have witnessed. We feel that whatever is up there is sensitive and in some way knows when it is being observed. Several sightings we have drove miles to get close enough to only to have the object(s) disappear, just as soon as we get within good viewing range.

Writing this now is very uncomfortable for me, as I am a very rational mature adult. I am 49 and my husband is 54 so we are not sight seekers or fanatics.  This is simply what we saw and would very much welcome an explanation.  But for now this is just another sighting that makes you go "hmmmm."

It took me a couple of days to report this because I have tried to "unexplain" it in my mind and have not been able to shake this one.  So here is our sighting.  Please if anyone else has noticed anything strange in Houston Texas recently I would be interested

Reported By:  gstrum1n. Location, Dallas Texas.  Sept 9 2004.

Subject: UFO sighting. Location: Dallas Texas. Date: August 25, 2004. Time: 7.30 AM.  Witnesses 2. Objects shape, Light.  No of objects 1.

Event Description:

I  woke up early in the am about 4:30, and went outside to have a smoke, and didn't notice anything special. At 6:30am I went back out again and noticed a what appeared to be a star in the sky, although no other stars, planets were visible at that time. There are/were some high stationary clouds which semi-obscured the view periodically. At that point I still thought it was a star. It's now 7:45, the suns up, and the object is still there. It appears to have moved more overhead at this point at about 11 O’clock as I face the east, it started at about the 9 o’clock from the same vantage point. Could possibly be a high atmosphere weather balloon, but does not appear to be following any of the other upper atmospheric clouds. I watch the sky’s often so I have seen many weather balloons, which this doesn't appear to be. I'm currently monitoring my scanner to see if I can pickup any chat in regards to it.

Heads Up! .

Reported By: Mary H. - Texarkana, Texas - February 21, 2004
Subject: UFO Sighting/Unexplained Event - Location: Texarkana, Texas - Date: March 20, 2001 - County sighting took place: Bowie - Zip Code: 75501 - Witnesses: 2 - Object's Shape: Light - Number of Objects: 1 -
Event Description:
My husband was taking me to work. I happened to see what I thought looked like a star. It was pretty light, few clouds.  I looked around to see if there was any other stars out. I thought it odd no other stars the sky was bright so I mentioned it to my husband.

We were stopped at a signal light so I pointed it out to him.  We watched for about a minute then almost like it saw us looking, it suddenly went straight up and out of sight.

It did not have any lights blinking on it and it was high in the sky, couldn't hear any noise. It was not a plane or star but we believe it was nothing we could come up with. We thought maybe a weather balloon but it moved so fast and straight up fast.

This was about 7 miles from Wright Patman Lake. We are about 15 miles from Red River Army Depot here.

Reported By: "Unknown" - Location: Houston, Texas - February 19, 2004
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Pasadena, Texas - Date: February 18, 2004 - Time: 6:45 PM - Witnesses: 1 - Object's Shape: Light - Number of Objects: 2 - Object had lights - Object changed colors - Object hovered - The event took place near a Military Airfield or Base - Additional Information: Urban area, refineries, and an air base nearby -
Event Description:
I was riding in a car, on a main street in Pasadena, Texas and saw an unusual display of lights high in the sky, off in the distance, straight ahead from the direction we were traveling.

The sun was down, and the lights were well above the usual lights from traffic signals, communications towers, refineries, etc. Impossible to determine how high in the sky they were, but definitely well above where any ground-based light would be.   There were two bright lights. I thought maybe some kind of helicopters?   But they just looked strange.  Not like anything I was used to seeing in the sky, so I watched them. Very bright, brighter than the stars in the sky, brighter than aircraft moving through the sky.

I watched these lights for approximately five minutes.  At first there were two lights, the one on the right slightly higher.  The lights twinkled like stars and occasionally changed from red to white.  They stayed stationary in the sky, as if hovering.  But the right hand light slowly moved down next to the left hand light and disappeared. Just blinked out to nothing. The right hand light reappeared back in its original position about ten seconds later and remained stationary.  The left hand light never moved.  After watching the two lights for approximately five minutes, they both disappeared simultaneously.  They just blinked out to nothing.

They appeared to be some distance away, possibly over LaPorte Texas or maybe even over the Gulf Coast waters.  This area is heavily populated for the most part, and has many refineries and an air base (Ellington Field) in the general area.

I didn't ask the driver of the vehicle I was riding in if they saw the lights also, because I knew that they'd tease me about it.  But it definitely was strange, nothing I have seen in the sky before, in that or any other area.  Maybe somebody else saw it too?

Reported By: Kat M. - Houston, Texas - January 18, 2004
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Houston, Texas - Date: January 17, 2004 - Time: 8:45 PM - Zip Code: 77581 - Witnesses: 3 - Object's Shape: Disk - Number of Objects: 1 - Object had lights - Object had an aura or haze around it - Object hovered - There is a Public Airfield in the area - Additional Information:  Beltway 8, just West of Hwy 35, Pearland Exit
Event Description:
I'd spent the day helping my niece move from Pearland to the Katy area. We were on our last trip of the day approximately 8:45 PM and had just entered on to Beltway 8 heading westbound.

As we were approaching the last inbound ramp before the toll booth, my niece noticed something in the sky. I heard her ask "What is that?" and then again.. even louder and quite a bit louder. She yelled at me to look asking what it was. I looked up into the sky just right of the beltway and was shocked to see a very well lit saucer shaped object in the sky.

At first I was certain it had to be a blimp or such. Of course, I was driving so my niece kept an eye on the object between my own glances. We rolled down the windows, watching it a bit longer. Then, suddenly the object dropped straight downward stopping abruptly just under the spot it had been seemingly hovering.

Getting quite excited at this point, we slowed down considerably and quickly went over the options of what it could be. It had many many more lights than any blimp we'd ever seen. Although we were rather close to Hobby Airport this object did not look like a plane and was MUCH larger than any plane we'd seen landing in that area before. We even went so far as to think it could possibly be a weather balloon. But again, this object was far too lit up for that.

We kept watching the bright white and what appeared to be reddish lights flashing at a stand still.. and at that point we both became a bit frantic. We decided to pull into the toll booth and ask the toll attendant if he could see it as well. When we pulled in.. and asked him "What's that?" he also looked to be a bit shocked for a moment and then said "Yeah, what IS that!" and yelled to another attendant to look into the sky.

Traffic was starting to build up behind us, so we were forced to carry on westward on the beltway watching as the object finally faded off into the distance.

Both of us are rather baffled by what we've seen and hope that there is some reasonable explanation.

Please Note: The following sighting has prompted a second report of a similar nature by an anonymous witness.  The second report has been filed here below the first report

Reported By: Bruce M - Phoenix, Arizona - July 31, 2003
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: San Antonio, Texas - Date: 1962 - Time: 8 PM -
Witnesses: 4 - Object's Shape: Oval - Number of Objects:1 - Object had Lights - The Event Took Place Near: A Military Airfield or Base
Event Description:
I was 9 years old and living on Base apartment housing just outside the main gate of Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

My best friend was Robert B., 11 years old, and he lived in the same courtyard of apartments as I did. Robert and I were headed over to his house and I don't remember exactly what time it was, but it was completely dark outside.

As Robert and I stepped outside from leaving my house, the darkness turned to daylight in an instant. We looked up to see why it was daylight and saw a luminous silver-white saucer-shaped disk with bright different colored rotating lights around the outer rim and underneath the disk in a tighter circle. I believe the rings of lights were rotating in opposite directions that remind me of a strobe-like effect that you see from a stereo turntable's speed adjustment strobe. It was maybe 20 feet above the 2-story rooftops and slightly to the left of us and it was about 50 feet in diameter.

The brightness of the disk did not hurt our eyes whatsoever, but was bright enough to give the effect of daylight in the area of our courtyard.  The saucer traveled at a slow pace (3 to 5 mph) and we could see a dome on top of the saucer. I don't remember seeing windows or portholes in it. It kind of resembled the flying saucer in the movie “The Day The Earth Stood Still."

I got a really good look at it before I ran back into the house to tell my younger brother and Mom and Dad.  I really didn't want to leave because it was so beautiful, but Robert insisted that we had to get someone else to see it or nobody would believe what we were seeing.

Robert stayed outside and I hurriedly ran into the house yelling and excited. My Mother said I was white as a ghost.  My Dad didn't believe me, but my Mom and brother ran outside to see it in time. We watched in amazement as it slowly disappeared behind the apartment building across the courtyard. We then attempted to run around the building to see the UFO on the other side, but by the time we arrived, it had completely disappeared.

I remember my sides aching from running so hard!  I asked my Dad who we could report the sighting to, and even though he said we were crazy and he didn't believe us, he said we should probably report it to the MARS station. I donut even know what that meant, but we contacted some agency and they said they had nothing on radar or no other reports of sightings. (Hard to believe that nobody else saw it!)

After that sighting, my Mother and brother and I used to watch orange and red oval lights performing amazing acrobatics in the night sky and then they would shoot up into the atmosphere at an incredible speed and disappear. There would be up to 3 of them at a time and about as big as a penny or a dime held up at arm' s length.

I also vaguely remember meeting other kids of different ages in a wooded area on the other side of our elementary school and behind a convenience store. (Which is in the direction where the UFO disappeared to.) Time always seemed to stand still for us and before we knew it, it would be dark outside and I would be in trouble for staying out so late. I could never figure out where the time went and nobody seemed to ever talk about it. It always seemed so mystical and a secret to be kept.

Reading about all the abductions in the last 10 years or so has got me wondering about that now, but I don't think I really want to know.

Ever since I've had these experiences, I have been obsessed with UFO's, aliens, astronomy, telescopes, science and science fiction. I've had a few sightings since then, but never as close and detailed of a sighting as this first one. I have wondered all my life about it and why I have seen what I've seen. I still don't know the answers, but I will keep searching until I do.

Anyone that was there or that has had similar experiences especially in San Antonio around that time period, please contact The Editor at Edit4MUniv@aol.com. Your email will be forwarded to Bruce, for contact purposes and to share experiences.

RE: San Antonio, Texas UFO post on www.mysticaluniverse.com

Hello,
I was very surprised to see your post of the sighting in San Antonio. It was
very similar to what I saw.

Back when I was a freshman in high school (1978), a friend was dropping me off at home after a night out. It was late - around midnight.

Anyway, my friend was the first to spot it. It looked exactly as you mention, except for the visible, luminous disc shape. From what I remember, the "body" of the
craft was dark (not lit), but it had the *exact* same rotating lights like you mentioned. It was also the same height from the ground and size as you mentioned.

After seeing this craft drift slowly past us (there was NO sound at all) we
decided to follow it. I got back in the car, we turned around and followed it
down the road towards US 281.

I was sticking my head out the window looking at it to tell my friend which direction the craft was heading. We reached US 281 and raced down the access road to the intersection at the underpass. I saw the craft go right over the highway in the vicinity of the overpass.

We proceeded to run the red light and go underneath the underpass to the other side of the highway. When we came out the other side, the craft was gone.

Where this event gets *really* interesting is at my last job. It was around
1993 when I was talking to my boss about strange occurrences. I hadn't told him
what I saw yet.

Then he tells me that as a kid, that he sometimes used to see something weird in the sky at night. I asked him what it looked like, and he then described the exact object that you and I saw. Everything was the same, the lights on the perimeter, low altitude, no sound, the slow movement down the road. I was shocked to hear him describe it, so I asked where it was that he lived at this time. He then named the *exact* street that I grew up on! I had never met him before working with him.

I would be very interested if you've heard from anyone else who has seen this.

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Houston, TX - Date: January 10, 2003 -
Time: 8:00 PM - Witnesses: 2 - Object's Shape: Orb/Light - Object Changed Colors - Object Hovered - Aircraft in the Area: Yes - Additional Information: Our location was on Interstate 45 @ Beltway 8 on the south side of Houston,
near Pasadena.
Event Description:
OK, it was at night, my brother and I had just turned off of the beltway (8) and were heading north on I-45.  It was a clear night, about 8:00 PM. I  noticed, in the rear view mirror,   a bright light, the reason I thought it was weird was that it was too high up to be a car or truck (we were in our truck so we were already pretty high up).

Now, just for some background on my brother and I. We are not a couple of chumps,  I am prior military, a F-16 Avionics-Journeyman and he is a prior Service ICBM Master Missile Technician (look those up if you want to check our knowledge base).

So back to the event. I notice this light up and behind us and I tell Todd (my brother) to look and tell me what the hell it is.

We see that it is a bright, bright, bright white light kind of flickering red and then back to this bright white.  It was hovering above and to the side of the highway about one-half mile behind us.

We just thought maybe it was a news chopper or a traffic chopper or something. But then after about 30 seconds or so of us noticing it these other lights coming up to it.

Now this was a little weird, so we pull over to try and decipher what is going on.  We recognized that the lights that came up to the original brighter light were actually
choppers (with their anti-k[anti-collision] lights and red/blue identifier lights) and they were shining their spotlights at the brighter light, which continued to hover there and then slowly moved southward, with the choppers following it.

Now the brightness of this thing was immense, I mean it was lighting up the surrounding parking lots underneath it.  It was REALLY weird, now if we were seeing all of this then there had to be other people seeing it.

We contacted TV stations, radio stations, weather stations and military installations and no-one would tell us anything, none of them said they knew a thing about it!

Now someone had to send out those choppers and there must have been hundreds of other people that had seen this thing!  If anyone else saw this (I think I've gotten the date about right)  I would be very interested!
Signed-Confounded in Texas!,
Patrick L.

Additional Information: Our location was on Interstate 45 @ Beltway 8 on the South side of Houston, near Pasadena. The highway was 8 lanes wide, VERY full of cars in both directions.

We could hear no sounds coming from the 'craft' ... we were about 1/4 to 1/2
a mile due North of it.

As for the shape: It was like a large round orb of white light (VERY bright!) turning slightly red and then back to a brilliant white.  Please post my event!
Thank you very much Nancy!,

Subject: UFO Sighting/ Paranormal Experience - Location - El Paso, Texas -  County: El Paso - Zip Code: 79936  Date: September 7, 2002 - Time: 10:00 to 10:30 PM - Witnesses: 1 - Objects Shape: Light - Number of objects: 1 - Object had lights -
Object emitted beams of light - There was interference associated with the object
Other: See explanation below
Event Description:
I was walking out of the kitchen, where I have plain view of the sky out of the living room windows high up, almost on the ceiling

There are two windows across from one another, in a corner. At first I felt a large vibration, like a rumble and thought someone had crashed (our street is accident prone), but then I turned out the light to see and I was overwhelmed by a bright light.

It was as if someone had a flashlight right up to the window!  It was very still, and so was I!  I rationalized it as a plane or copter, but there was only bright, white light, and it didn't move. Copters and planes here have visible red and blue lights and they're constantly on the move with a soft humming sound, this was a scary light.

I turned the light back on and saw the clock, it was only 10:00 PM.   I stood there waiting for it to move, for sirens, anything, and when I looked at the clock again it was 10:30 PM.

Suddenly, it began to fall really fast, just a straight drop. I fell to the floor, afraid that if it was a plane or an attack we were in for it with this thing so close, but nothing ever came of it, and I haven't seen anything like it sense.

What I thought strange was my watch had stopped on 10:00 PM.   The clock in the kitchen too, and the TV went static.   It made me queasy.

Witnesses: 2 - Objects Shape: Fireball - Number of objects: 1 - Object had lights - Object left a vapor trail
Event Description:
This event happened on two consecutive nights at about the same time. Both times the object went directly south.
It was flying very low because the first night was very cloudy with low level clouds, but was still very visible. The second night was clearer but with the exact same behavior. We heard no sound and the object was moving very fast across the sky. We have planes fly over, but none fly that fast and are usually headed southwest towards the Lewisville Airport, plus you can hear them. Very strange. I will be looking for it again tomorrow night.

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Harris County, Texas - Date: Oct 1978 - Time: 9:00 PM
Zip Code: 77429 - County sighting took place: Harris County, Texas - Witnesses: 1 - Objects Shape: Unknown
Number of objects: 1 - Object had lights - Object changed colors - Object hovered
There were High Voltage Power Lines in the area - Additional Information: H. L.& P. Plant on F.M. 149
Event Description:
October 1978 after 8:00 p.m.
I had worked late in the office and was leaving going home in Houston. I was driving at night, when I saw what at first I believed to be a helicopter over the Houston Lighting and Power Plant. The drive was through a desolate rural area.  The power plant had the only lights in the area.

As I drove closer down F.M. 149 (then a two lane asphalt road) from F.M. 1960 (a two lane asphalt road) towards Interstate Hwy. 45, I realized the circling flashing lights would have to be on the rotor blade tips, and I had never seen a helicopter with such lights. I slowed down and rolled down my car window (a 1973 Ford Ranchero) to get a better look.

I had to be a few hundred yards from the lights. The lights alternated from yellow to red to blue/white to orange as they pulsated and circled. The lights would make the object over a hundred feet across and I could not determine if it was circular, but as it never looked differently from different angles so I would assume it to be circular.

I continued to drive as I watched the object float along over the top of the Power transmission lines over the towers south of the Power Plant. The object just drifted slowly and silently to the Northwest.

I never saw it since, and I have never seen anything like it. The whole experience was short in duration. It was a beautiful array of lights. I have often wondered if anyone else saw it too. I have only told a few people I saw it.

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Texas - Date: varied - Time: varied - Object changed colors
Event Description:
My uncle has seen many UFO experiences in his life. He told me one time him and his parents and sisters were on 281 road and they saw a bright red light in the sky.

He says "It looked like the sun but only brighter." Anyway they followed it for about 30 minutes and after a while it just took off. He says he thinks that it knew that it was following them. And my uncle's wife says when she was about 15 she was outside with her brothers and she saw a bright red object go over the trees. She says that it actually touched the trees and all of her neighbors had seen the same thing.

As for me I have only seen UFOs with my uncle. Down here in the summer .. which is right now ... there are many UFOs we don't like to report them cause they'll probably think were faking it. But it just wasn't 1 UFO it was at least 15.

The reason I knew it was a UFO and not a plane or anything else was because I looked at a star for a while and on some of them they would start blinking, and turn off and on, and then the would be in one place then appear
at another.

I was jogging with my daughter and high in the sky we saw something that at first we thought was a airplane but it was lit up like a roman candle going up towards the sky and it had a tail like that and it dissappeared into the sky behind the clouds.
It was much to quick to be an airplane and it did not have a vapor trail or smoke just this ball of light.
