Event Description: My friend Alex went to drop off his girlfriend Krissy and on the way they were driving past Leominster's recently cleaned and filtered landfill. As they looked up into the sky, they reported seeing a UFO in the shape of a triangle with three lights on the bottom of it.
They said it was 200-300 ft. from the ground, hovering in one general area with almost no noise at all except a little humming. They pulled into a parking lot and watched for futher information.
The front light went out and then the rest of the lights went out and it would reappear in a different part of the sky. This happened a few times and then the object was not seen again.
A week prior to this event, our friend Aaron who works for a limousine service in Leominster which is located about 500 ft. from the sighting, was on his way to Boston to Logan Airport.
While on duty and on his way into Boston, he called us back in Leominster and told us that he was driving into Boston and saw the same exact thing. A triangular object with three lights that was hovering low to the ground and made almost no noise. It disappeared and reappeared 2 to 3 times that evening within a matter of 15 min.
The same was also reported at an apple farm in Leominster on Sept. 5 and was in our local paper I believe. These incidents are ridiculous and I totally believe everything I've heard and seen. I need explanations though...

Event Description:
I was driving two friends home. None of us had been drinking, and my friends are very skeptical about UFO's.
We were driving down a road that is used often in the daytime, but during late-night hours, it is very deserted. There were no houses on the stretch we were on. There is a hospital facility nearby, but not close enough to provide lighting on the road. There were no streetlights in that particular spot.

We all saw three green circle-shaped lights flying in a triangular formation. I initially thought it was a small aircraft about to crash. I slammed on the brakes, because it seemed dangerously close to my car. I was very frightened by it. Then, the object disappeared. Reluctantly, I, at the request of my friends, tried to locate what we had seen, but there was no sign of it. I am still frightened by what I saw

Event Description:
West of Gloucester, MA. It looks like an airplane from a distance, but is hovering and moving in a zig zag circular motion. It has a humming sound and doesn't move much from the original area except to erratically circle. It seems to be blinking and has an aura of light around it. It moves in a very jerky motion.

Dear Nancy:
As I stated in my previous letter. I had been searching the Internet trying to locate any and or all information for UFO sightings in or around the Nantucket, MA, area on 16 July 1999 when I came upon your website. I then read the sighting reports of Carl, Tracy, and Robert. These reports reflect pretty much what I witnessed the very same evening and time closely correlates with that of my sighting. I am not sure if the group we saw at the restaurant was Tracy and her friends or not.
Description of the event
I'm not sure exactly where to start, so I'll begin this from the time we left the seafood restaurant on Nantucket Island 16 July 1999. My wife, son, daughter in-law, and I had just walked out of a local seafood restaurant. When we saw a group of four to five well dressed young individuals pointing at a very bright light in the eastern part of the sky. My first thought was they were just waving to a friend who was about to land at a local airport. As I fumbled with my keys, my son and daughter in-law said in unison, "Did you see that!" When I glanced up to see what all the fuss was about, the aircraft had moved from where I had originally seen it, to a location approximately fifteen to twenty miles north. At its new location, it hovered for a few moments, then as if someone had flipped a light switch, the light went out. A few seconds later, the light reappeared and moved back to the location where we had first observed it.

The aircraft covered the distance in a matter of seconds. Seconds later, the bright light again went out, giving us a clear view of its shape. Its shape resembled two pie pans, one inverted and on top of the other. Having flown several missions in Vietnam, and a military career of twenty years, I have seen many of the "Top Secret" aircraft our military has, but none that have the capabilities to move as silently and quickly as this object did. I have to disagree with the others on the distance and size of this object. Distance from our location: Approximately one mile. Size: Four to Five
hundred feet in diameter. The light did change from a bright white to a bright blue in color. As stated by Robert, the color did in fact resemble an electrical transformer exploding.

Description of the event:
On July 16, 1999, While on a business trip in Massachusetts, my associates and I went to Nantucket for dinner and a little sight seeing. As we were leaving the restaurant, our attention was drawn to a bright light in the eastern sky. There was a slight haze, but the light penetrated it effortlessly. We at first thought it was an aircraft. Then, in a matter of seconds, this light moved to another point in the sky. We estimate the distance it traveled, in those few seconds, to be approximately ten miles, if not more. The light remained in this location about twenty to thirty seconds, then vanished from sight. As we were all joking around about how we had just witnessed a UFO, the light reappeared in the same location from where it had vanished. As it had done before, it moved to another point in the sky in a matter of seconds. It was actually quite hard to follow it as it sped from one point to another. One member in our party thought the object to be five to six miles from our position. Within a few seconds, the light went out and we were able to see a faint outline of what appeared to be an inverted pie pan. As we stood with our mouths agape, this object/craft went straight up and vanished from sight.

The light from the object went from bright white to an electric blue in color. Objects size: 150 to 200 feet in diameter

Description of the event:
On July 16, 1999 I accompanied Tracy and three others to a seafood restaurant on Nantucket Island. As we left the restaurant and headed towards our rental car, we noticed an unusually bright light to the east. At first, it did not seem at all out of the ordinary until it moved from its original position in the sky to another in the blink of an eye. I would say it traveled ten to fifteen miles north in just a few seconds time. It then seemed to either vanish or become transparent. A few moments later, it reappeared in the same position and then moved across the sky at an extremely high rate of speed to the East, near where we had first observed it. The light that beamed from it changed from a very intense white to a blue color that closely resembled that of a power transformer exploding. When the light went out, we were able to see the faint silhouette of a disk shaped object. The shape of this object reminded me of the space ship used in the "Lost In Space" TV series. After the object hovered for a few seconds, it rose straight up and disappeared from sight. My best guess as to the distance from our location to the object, would be approximately two miles. Description of the event:
On July 16 Th., 1999, we were flying from New Hampshire to Florida (private aircraft) for a two week vacation. While over Mara Vista, we noticed what seemed to be the landing light of another aircraft approximately 10 to 15 miles east of our location. Since it appeared to be on approach for landing and quite a bit lower in altitude, we did not think much of it. Then, in a matter of seconds, what we thought had been an aircraft, was right along side of us. It kept a distance of about 3/4's of a mile to our east and approximately 1,500 feet higher in altitude.

We were able to clearly see the shape and color of this, now non aircraft, object. Its shape was as if you took two pie pans, inverted one on top the other and placed a much smaller inverted pie pan on top. It was completely smooth and was dull gray in color. The other peculiar thing we all noticed about this craft, is that it had no windows and the once prominent light was now extinguished. The plane we were flying is equipped with an aircraft avoidance system, and this object did not set off any of the warnings as it should have. Approximately 30 to 40 seconds later, the craft went straight up and disappeared from sight. It did not tilt back and go up, it remained level while going upwards, until it was out of eyesight.
