Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Bells Beach Victoria,  Date: 12/7/06  Time:  10.44 PM  Witnesses: 1   Number Of Objects:  3  Object's Shape:   ?   Additional Information:  Object was seen in the North West sky 12 degrees up from horizon, Object emitted other objects, Object emitted beams of light, Object changed colors, Object became transparent.

Event Description:
Looking up at a clear night sky at 10.44 pm towards Winchelsea/Colac - I saw a star like object in the sky.  Looking for constellations and comets thru the telescope, however this object go brighter than moved right, left and moved left (south) for about 10 seconds - then immediately accelerated.

It did get brighter then disappeared. 1-2 mins later a red cloud haze appeared for 3 seconds a little above the area I was looking at in the sky.  At 11.53 - the object re-appeared - with bright light and again darted to the south and then disappeared.

Sky was clear and many constellations were easily visible.

Haven't yet identified the nearby constellation I was looking at but will endeavor to look in same location over next few nights

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Ashwood, Australia - Date: December 12, 2006 - Time: 10 PM - Witnesses: 1 - Number Of Objects: Various - Object's Shape: "V" - Objects had Lights - Additional Information: In my backyard; clear and cloudless night
Event Description:
I saw something absolutely stunning and extraordinary last night (12/12/06). It was approximately 10:00 P.M. precisely (by the time I looked at the clock it was 3 minutes past but at least a minute had elapsed by then) and I was conducting my regular sky watch for satellites from my home in Ashwood.

I had my 8-20x50 binoculars. The night last night was cloudless and very clear with no discernible haze (it had been moderately windy during the day).

I was nearly ready to walk inside when I noticed what I took to be a faint "cloud" passing near the star Canopus. It seemed to be a small cloud but was moving pretty quickly from South (SSE) to North.

I didn't have my glasses on and my naked eye vision isn't 20/20 without them, but I can see stars easily enough and satellites -- the 'cloud' was an indistinct, very pale glow. It seemed a little odd as it wasn't windy enough to push a cloud (the only cloud in the sky) like that, so I looked through my binoculars -- what I saw was astonishing!

I saw a "V" shape row of lights or two rows of lights. I watched this formation proceeding until it passed by the tree in my front yard (I was on the back porch) -- it traversed approximately 40-45 degrees of the night sky under my observation.

The lights in the rows were quite 'soft' (which would have explained why I initially thought I'd seen a cloud and they [the lights] seemed to be a little elongated like small, narrow, vertical strokes. They were not bright but easily discernible and clear in the binoculars.

There appeared to be more lights on the length of the "V" that seemed closer to me (8 to 10)? and less on the other side (5 or 6)? (there could have been more).

The "V" was moving point first and what I took to be the closer limb was the "lower" one, if you can imagine a 3D perspective. It did not seem to be multiple objects, but it might have been.

The spacing between the lights did not vary. I did not notice whether I could see stars in the space between the limbs of the "V" as it passed too quickly.

The impression I received was an object not unlike the infamous Hudson River Valley object that appeared frequently in the US in the 1980's and 1990's.

The apparent size of the object was hard to gauge, as it was impossible to judge its altitude, though it did not appear to at the altitude of a satellite. It took up most of the field in my binoculars but, with the naked eye, was probably a little less than the spacing one observes between the stars in Orion's belt.

Interestingly I heard a jet engine noise at the time I was watching and was wondering about that until I lowered the glasses. There was a commercial jet passing from West to almost due East (at a much lower altitude) at precisely the same time as I observed the mystery object (s)? It had standard navigation lights. The two objects were separated by at least 60 degrees heading in their separate directions.

The mystery object (s)? cannot have been a satellite and could not have been a cloud.

It was not a collection of stars and does not match the description of an aircraft of any configuration that I know or could guess at (I have been watching aircraft for 40 years since my ATC days).

I think I really saw something special last night.

Reported By: Jenny - Windsor, NSW, Australia - June 23, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: NSW - Windsor, Australia - Date: June 6, 2005 - Time: 6:00 AM - Witnesses: 1 - Number of Objects: 1 - Object's Shape: Oval - Object had an Aura or Haze around it - Additional Information:  Above houses in built up Area
Event Description:
I was driving to work and coming towards a small intersection, it was early so not much traffic.

I saw something move above the local club. I slowed down as I watched a small smokey gray oval object, like a large football travel horizontally approximately 20 meters above the houses exactly, traveling and following the middle of the road from my right and traveling to the left.

I stopped at the intersection and watched it and for some reason or other decided not to turn left and follow it, probably because I couldn't see any other people.

I have never seen anything like it and was puzzled as there appeared to be no lights or windows and the fact that it was quite small. One thing I know it had a definite flight course.

Reported By: Adam K. - Brisbane, Queensland, Australia - April 15, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Northside of Brisbane- Date: 1990's - Time: Late Night -
Witnesses: 6 - Number of Objects: 1 - Object's Shape: "Other" -  Additional Information: On sports ground of a campus, Brisbane.
Event Description:
I have never talked about it much as I have never believed in UFO's and such. I always put it down to some new military type exercise or something like that. In fact there was a five or 6 of us that saw it. We made a pact never to tell anyone as they would think we are loopy or just plain "druggos"!

See we were all around the age of 16 and some of us were drinking at the time and some may have even been smoking a little dope. We even wondered to ourselves if we had all just drunk or smoked to much, but then we thought "How could we have all seen the same thing"? But we new what people would say

It was approximately 1990 or 1992, or there abouts. The group of us were just sitting around the sports grounds of a campus on the northside of Brisbane in Queensland. It was late at night.

All of a sudden we all just "felt something" and looked up. I remember my whole body going numb with fear as I looked up and saw this thing slowly passing over head. It was huge. Like a 747!  It didn't make a noise and didn't have any lights. It was in the shape of a handglider or stealth bomber! It seemed as though it was only like one or two hundred meters above us. It was moving, but very very slowly.

I remember it was sort of heading towards the city. I cant remember how long this went on for, but I think it was a matter of seconds. Then it just excelerated and disappeared. We were all just dumbfounded. Freaked out I suppose. We got out of there pretty quick after that.

I remember especially getting the paper the next day to see if other people reported it. THEY DIDN'T!  We all spoke about it in the following days and we were all convinced we had seen the same thing.

I pretty much lost contact with those guys the over the following years, but I did still think about what we had seen occasionally. I ended up convincing myself that it was some sort of amazing new military aircraft being tested and the pilots were just playing and trying to freak this group of teenage boys out. They sure did succeed!

Anyway I suppose I'm just wondering if anyone else might have reported a similar incident around that time period in Brisbane and if it is more than likely to have been the military aircraft I have always hoped it was.

Comments by Brad Mildern, UFO Investigator, Webmaster: Mystical Universe:

Thanks for your report and thanks for visiting our Mystical Universe Website.

Your report is a good one and typical of many other reports regards shape, size and behaviour of the UFO. Unfortunately I have no record of other sightings from the same location for the period you stated.

For three years from 1990 to 1993 there were repeated sightings of very large triangular craft over western Europe, especially Belgium. The reports were verified by radar and by pilots sent up to investigate the intruders.

In the late 90s there were similar sightings over Dallas Texas and Phoenix Arizona.

More recently there are occasional sightings of large triangular shape craft from other parts of the world, including Australia, but yours is one of the earliest from here, and one of the clearest.

I must presume that human stealth technology couldn't have been that advanced that long ago otherwise we would be seeing it in use on the battlefields of the world like the F117 was (stealth bomber) and that there would have been no requirement for anyone advanced enough to develop it to use it over Brisbane back in 92. Therefore it has to be genuine ET style UFO.

Reported By: Irene S. - New South Wales, Australia - January 25, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Port Macquarie, Australia - Zip Code: 2444 -  Date: 2004 - Time: 10:30 PM - Witnesses: 1 - Number of Objects: 1 - Object's Shape: Circle - Object had an Aura or Haze around it -
Event Description:
I was sitting outside on the back porch around 10:30 PM, approximately.

When I looked up, suddenly this pitch black circular object with a corona or a yellow halo surround the rim of the object flew just above tree level from right to left. It was faster than any aeroplane.  I live not far from an air field and see planes at all hours, day and night quite regularly and know this was no plane.

It made no sound, and just seemed to glide at a steady pace and the sighting took perhaps about 15 seconds.

I will never forget it.

Reported By: Michael K. - Melbourne, Australia - January 15, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Hobart, Tasmania - Date: October 22, 2005 - Time: 9:50 PM - Witnesses: 6  - Number of Objects : 1 - Object's Shape: Triangle - Object Had Lights - Object Changed Colors - Object Hovered - Additional Information: Just outside of Hobart City, Tasmania,  Australia
Event Description:
My name is Michael K. and I'm originally from Melbourne, Victoria, but I went on a school trip to Hobart, Tasmania for a week and what me and my friends saw that night wasn't like anything we've ever seen before!

It was around 9:50-ish at night and the sky was pretty clear except for some small rain clouds...  myself, together with 5 more friends went outside our cabin to go to the main room where the rest of our class were. We were the last ones and running late, but just about 20 meters away from the main room - my friend Bruce noticed a weird "thing" in the sky.

There weren't much trees around so we could see the sky clearly, and we noticed that the thing was heavily lit with bright white/orange-ish lights and then changing its colors from white/orange to blue/reddish kind of.

The weird "thing" or UFO that we saw didn't make any noises at all so it definitely couldn't have been a Helicopter or a plane, and it wasn't as high as normally the helicopters fly ... it was even lower than that.

The UFO was also kind of hovering like a helicopter (even though it was NOTHING like one) it also moved pretty slow and from OUR point of view -- it was sort of above a mountain just near our camp site out of Hobart.

But then about 40 seconds afterwards, the UFO disappeared and we went into the main room but decided to keep it a secret and never told anyone about it.

Subject: UFO Sightings  - Varies Dates, Times and Places

Dear Sir:
I recently wrote about the first experience online and thought it might be of interest to you.

I work in visual effects professionally so even if I had a photograph to offer, it no doubt would be dismissed as a hoax.  I have also included two other sightings from the 80s which may be of interest to you.

Event Descriptions:

Location: Cootamundra, NSW, Australia
December 17, 2005
10:43 PM Witnesses (9) including myself and my wife.

Most recent sighting:  Myself, my wife and several friends (9 in total) were outside and witnessed the objects... we had driven down from Sydney to have dinner at a friend's house in Cootamundra.  Present were also a police officer and a light aircraft pilot.  The sky was clear and there were no nearby streetlights to obscure our sight.

I had brought with me a Celestron spotting scope which had a 1200 mm focal length and was looking at the stars to see if there was a chance to glimpse Saturn which I thought would be of interest to the others.

Looking at the sky, I was observing a bright star whilst standing in the backyard.  But, as I gazed at the star, four smaller objects passed close by it from the South heading north.  They were evenly spaced (about 2/3 the diameter of the moon in terms of distance between each object).  The four objects travelled in a perfectly straight line, one behind the other.

I ran to my wife and told her there were "UFO's in the sky, same as the last time, come quick!" and
she joined me in the open yard.  Others heard my words and within a few seconds, everyone was with me asking what and where the UFOs were.  I carry two 532nm (green) lasers with me and used a 10mW laser to point out the four slowly moving objects to our friends.  All were immediately captivated by
the four evenly spaced objects slowly passing almost overhead.

Having seen satellites in the sky before, I am convinced that these objects were travelling at a height above the 60 mile height since they were reflecting sunlight and the time was 10:43 PM in the evening.  They were the same magnitude of brightness as a dim star and did not flash or emit any further light.

I then took out a second but much stronger laser (110mW-150mW - will burn rubber and dark materials up close) which has a supposed range of between 55-60miles and directed the very bright beam directly at the lead object and tracked the object.

It was agreed by those in our group that these were NOT aircraft and there was no concern regarding issues of safety due to the immense distances involved between our location and the objects.   After 2
seconds of directing the beam at the first object, the two objects to the rear immediately fell back and decreased speed.  After perhaps 4 seconds, they immediate sped up and fell back into formation.  The line of lights then began to change course and took up an Eastern direction in a very gradual arc.

I then turned the laser on again and directed it at the second last object and it promptly vanished from the formation altogether.  For a moment it appeared to become dimmer and then it vanished entirely.  By now I was aware that I had not attempted to photograph the objects.  I had my camera with me (a 'Canon Pro 1' 8MP Digital camera) which had run out of power earlier in the night but I had given my wife the backup battery to put in her purse...and my wife had a Canon EOS 30e 35 mm film camera with her.

My wife ran to get my spare battery whilst I led everyone back to my car to get my tripod and to set up the camera.  With the right delay in the exposure, I suspected that I might be able to capture the trail of the four objects against the stars.

By now, I'd handed the lower powered laser to others to point out to me where the objects were as I set up the camera in the middle of the street.  They turned on the laser to help me see where they were in the sky.

The dogs next door were barking but it was likely at us since the objects were too far away.    By the time my wife had returned to me with a fresh battery, the objects were closer to the horizon and had become too faint to be photographed.

We then set out chairs in the backyard to see if we would sight more objects.  I set up the camera and adjusted the exposure and ISO, etc., for the best results but saw nothing further.

My wife spotted what looked like a satellite heading across the sky in the same path (but opposite direction)
to the four objects we had seen. Other than this, the sky quickly became cloudy and the moon rose which made it hard to see anything as clearly.

October 1984:
In relation to my comment to my wife when I first observed the objects, I have seen something similar from a backyard in North Parramatta/Northmead in late (October?)1984.  This object was travelling from South To north and was almost overhead.

I was with three of my friends (Whom still talk about this) and two or possibly three girls (one of whom lived at the address). The object looked exactly like the four we saw in Cootamundra and I was originally convinced that this was a satellite.

But as it slowly crept across the sky, it suddenly turned at a perfect right angle to it's original
trajectory and we all gasped when it did this without slowing down.  Almost 2 seconds after it had turned, the object fragmented into three distinctly separate objects which moved away from each other at the same speed and in opposite directions from one another.

These three objects then froze where they were, and appeared to park themselves and became completely motionless in the sky surrounded by similarly bright stars.  Eventually we took our eyes away a few too many times and were soon unable to determine which "stars" were the objects.

One last sighting from the 80s.
At 11:00 AM sharp on a Sunday around October 1987, I was in my parent's car and was driving my fiance at the time to the city to have lunch.

I had just exited Lake Street at North Parramatta and had pulled up at the lights on the James Ruse Drive / Pennant Hills Road overpass and was waiting for the lights to change when we saw people looking back at us anxiously from the car in front of us and pointing ahead.

Other people were getting out of their cars and pointing up in the sky.  As we leant forward, we saw a large object that was actually eclipsed by our sun visors.

We were on a rise and it was a cloudless powder-blue sky but ahead of us, about 100 feet off the tops of the trees and heading from the East to the North West was a VERY large rusty looking cube floating against the wind and completely silent.

There were quite a few people out of their cars at this point and we got out too.  I recall that the object looked like it had been welded together from sheets of rusting steel and painted with and dark crimson but rusted over badly.  I wondered for a moment if it was a hot air balloon made to look unusual but the object was travelling against the breeze and it just seemed to look like it weighted a hundred tons.  Thought not easy to determine the size, I'd say it was about the size of a two or three story house.

It was absolutely silent.  We all shook our heads when the object flew slowly out of sight over the trees of the Lake Parramatta Reserve and out of our line of sight.  Everyone kept saying "Did you see that?  Oh my
gosh!"

I wish I had a camera then... and I simply can't forget the detail on the object.  It looked like a very rusty Rubric's Cube with plenty of vertical streaking and no windows of protruding details.

If anyone want's further verification, please contact me and I will direct you to other wiseness from each of the three incidents as I am still in touch with all of them.

Reported By: Mark M. - Adelaide, South Australia - January 7, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Adelaide, South Australia - Date: June 6, 1998 - Time: 9:00 PM - Witnesses: 20 - Number of Objects: 6 - Object's Shape: "Light" -
Additional Information: Over suburbs of Adelaide
Event Description:
I was flying a 4 seat aircraft the night of June 6, 1998, after completing a 1 hour night scenic flight with a guest visiting Adelaide from Germany.

I prepared to head back to a smaller airport just north of the Adelaide Airport. Flying at 2000 ft above sea level, heading north along the coastline at around 9 PM. Both I and my passenger noticed a fast orange flash of light in the horizon, travel from left to right some distance in front of our aircraft. The light joined 5 others and travelled south at the same altitude as me and at 12 o'clock (directly ahead) .

I was in controlled airspace and called approach and notified them on what I was seeing and asked for vectors to fly around the 6 orange objects that were approaching me. ATC called me back and said they have no evidence on there radar screens?

Both of us were amazed as we could see these lights approaching us and we were becoming concerned. I once again called Adelaide approach and asked for a change in level or direction. They once again said all was clear.

Many people on the ground that night monitored the VHF band and could hear me talking with Adelaide approach. These people looked out side and could clearly see 6 objects approaching my aircraft in the clear night sky. They all made reports.

As I approached these objects, trusting ATC I maintained direction and altitude. The 6 orange objects were in formation, horizontal and evenly spaced. However, as I neared them they formed a circle which allowed me to fly thru the middle without any problems. We stared at these large orange objects as we flew through them. They seemed unusual, almost angelic. We returned back to Parafield Airport, without further incident.

I called Adelaide approach on my mobile phone and demanded an explanation. They asked me to call Collin Norris and explain what happened. Collin Norris is Adelaide's UFO man. I called Collin, he said his phone ran red hot that night and we made a report with him.

I ended up appearing on National television and appeared in many newspapers and magazines around the country. I received a call about a week after the event, it was the controller I spoke with that night. He knew me from school after seeing my picture in the newspaper. He called to say after recognizing me he ran radar tapes again. Greg said after making some adjustments to contrast he could see the objects and said they appeared to look like weather returns. The night was clear no weather. He has retired to a fast food ownership and I still fly...Only during daylight

Reported By: Jonathan S. - Brisbane, Queensland, Australia - January 3, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia - Date: 2003 - Time: Afternoon - Witnesses: 3 - Object's Shape: Disk - Number of Objects: 2 - Objects Hovered - Objects were near an airfield - There were small aircraft in the area
Event Description:
My name is Jonathan S. and I have a UFO sighting that will smash any sighting anybody has ever seen anywhere in the world.

I am a Sales Rep, working around Brisbane Queensland Australia.

About three years ago I was sitting at my desk (work) on the phone to a customer when my boss (He is about 60 years of age, played rep sport (2 codes) for QLD and is a very well known and respected citizen) ran past my desk. I was on the phone and he was telling me to hang up and come out side. He repeated himself three times before I decided to hang up the phone and head outside to join him.

As I opened the door, he was standing there looking out to the West. He was joined by a courier driver that delivers goods in our area (Salisbury, a very populated industrial area on the southside of Brisbane City.) She is an elder lady about the same age as my boss, I'm just guessing.

I looked in the same direction as they were and there was two UFO's hovering above about 8 small aircraft. We have our office situated up on Tooheys Mountain. I'd call it a hill, but it is a mountain app, and we looked out to the West, towards Ipswich.

In this direction, about 2 or 3 kilometers, is Archerfield Airdrome. We see small aircraft everyday flying around the area, but generally 1 or maybe 3 at a time spread out around a very large area. On this day, this instant, there where 8 or so small air craft flying around that were all very very close to each other.

Any way these two UFOs were just hovering above these aircraft for about 2 minutes. They would move up and down every 2-3 seconds, but what was most amazing was every time they moved the nose of the craft would bend. It was very much like liquid metal in a solid form bending (terminator 2-movie).

This was all happening in the middle of the day, in the middle of Brisbane and why nobody else had seen this remains an absolute misery to myself and the other two witnesses.

It was the clearest day I can remember, not a cloud in the sky and not a breath of wind anywhere, which sort of explains why there were so many small aircraft in the sky that day.

We watched the UFOs for about 2 minutes when they both dropped out of the sky and below the buildings in front of us blocking our view. We turned to each other for a moment to ask each other what we were seeing, then looked back at the sky to see if we could see them again.

Watching the sky for a few more seconds, the two craft appeared again much smaller (about 1/8 the size) they had dropped close to the ground and shot out very quickly to the West.

They then shot up into the sky to leave the atmosphere. As they got higher into the sky, the two got father apart from each other forming a V from the ground up. As they got closer to the Earth's outer atmosphere, the day sky lit up with sparkling stars that were perfectly placed in the sky. By that I mean, each sparkling star was the exact distance from the next and the sky was full (north, south, east, west ...  absolutely covered) with sparkling stars.

If you tried to look at one star, it would vanish but your peripheral vision would see stars sparkling all over the place.

The lady courier driver at this point, had to look away she said she was getting dizzy. That's when myself and my boss looked at each other. I said to them both, "I'm dizzy also!" My boss shook his head and said "So am I." We then looked to the sky again and they were not there anymore.

After this sighting, I made contact with Archerfield Airdrome and got put through to the control tower. I asked the man in the tower why there were so many planes in the sky before and he said there wasn't as many as I thought there was.

I then said to him, "Did you know there were two UFO's flying above the small planes in the sky just above the tower?" He said that he would check his radar but also told me that if they were there they would have been picked up on the radar at Brisbane's International Airport Control Tower and he gave me the number. He told me that they also have control of reporting UFO sightings.

When I called the tower at Brisbane INT, the operator told me that they don't have control of the reports anymore, that it had been passed on to the Amberly Airbase which ironically is in the very direction as Archerfield Airdrome is from my office, only about 30 kilometers out further west.

I called the head office at the base and asked the lady if I could report a UFO sighting. She told me that they don't do that. I insisted that she keep me on the phone and find out for me. I was on hold for at least 10 minutes. When she returned, she said she had good news for me, she was also very excited, she said "Look, we don't normally do this, but we have a General out in the field today and I have been instructed to give you his mobile number." She gave me his number and I called him straight away.

He answered the phone and I told him who I was and what we had just seen. He would pause all the time before each question, as if he was writing it down. He then said thank you and hung up.

I have since spoken to a family member who has been in the armed forces for 35 years and he assures my there is no General at Amberly Airbase. Maybe there was on this day due to secret air craft testing being in the middle of the day and a very very good clear day at that.

Who ever it was the technology was out of this world. I have also discovered that when this event happened George Bush, Sr., in Australia for a two week period and at the time he was Chief of CIA or something like that, so I've been told. Do not quote me on that.

What I do know is that what I have seen and let me tell you if we had captured this event on film the world would now know the truth, it was that clear to see.

The UFO's were disk shaped but very thin. They were probably about the size of a bus maybe twice the size, hard to tell but I do know they were about 4 times the size of the small single engine planes flying around that day.

They were hollow in the middle and when hovering they would change the angle of the craft and move about 10 -20 meters every 2-3 seconds. At times they would be on their side and the hollowed middle section at one point we could see what looked to be two people just sitting there floating in there seats as if the hollowed section was an invisible cockpit.

Also every move they made, the nose of the craft would bend in the direction that it would then travel. When they left the earths atmosphere there was no vapour trail but we did notice that they were shooting up in spurts not a constant speed.

If you would like to ask any questions on this event feel free to email me

Regards Jonathan.

Reported By: Maria J. - Kojonup, West Australia - July 21, 2005

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Kojonup, West Australia - Zip Code: 6395 - Date: October 26, 1999 - Time: 1:30 AM - Witnesses: 1 - Number of Objects: 1 - Object's Shape: Cone - Object had lights - Object had an Aura or Haze around it - Object changed colors - Object hovered
Event Description:
At 1:30 AM, on the morning of 26/10/1999, I was awakened by my 2 Rottweiller dogs, who were barking out of control and running from side to side in the back yard and jumping up on the gates trying to get out to the front of the house.

I lay in bed for a few minutes and decided that I had better get up and tell them to keep quiet as they would wake the neighbours.

This is when I realised that there was a strange blue light outside my bedroom window which was pulsating off and on, and thought it must be the police and they have picked up a drunk driver or something, but the dogs kept on barking.

It was at this point, that I sat up in bed and opened the curtains. To my shock and horror there was this huge object. It was cone shaped and covered in hundreds of cylinder shaped lights which pulsated on, which lit up the whole of my front yard like it was the middle of the day, except it was a blue light. When it turned off, it was total darkness.

The object was hovering off the ground about 15 feet and probably measured 20 feet wide by 30 feet high this is an estimation as there are 2 trees which were on either side of the object.

It made no noise and stayed about 10 minutes, and then it just turned off just like a light and disappeared. My dogs were still barking at this point I went outside to tell them to shut up. I realised then, that they had been so distressed, that they had saliva running down all their chest and foam around their mouths and in a very agitated state.

The next morning I went to work early and asked a lot of people if anyone had seen anything. I even asked all my neighbours who live near me, but everyone told me the same thing, that they had been in bed asleep.

For the last five years I have wondered about what I could have seen as it has always puzzled me, and that the fact that no one else saw it.

I told my friends.  They told me not to say too much about it, as people think that I would be crazy.

Over the years, I have other strange things happen to me, but this was probably the weirdest.

Anyway, I was also wondering if anyone saw any strange lights in the sky on Monday the 18th of July around 7:30, I had gone outside to get some wood and saw this bright light which looked like an explosion, but nothing like a meteorite. It was in the western sky.

Event Description:
On Saturday evening 19 February 2005, I put my son to bed and retired myself.  I had only just fallen asleep when my son ran into my room and woke me saying, "Can you hear it?"  It was very much like a deep rumbling noise and sound extremely close and above the house.  It faded into the distance within seconds, but I was unable to locate any sightings in the sky.

I tried to reassure my son that whatever it was, had gone, but he was very nervous, so I decided to stay with him for a while.  I was nearly asleep when he woke me and said "Did you see the light?"  He commented that it was in the sky and moved fast past the window, with square light penetrating through.

This is not the first experience I have had in my home.  Last year I saw at high altitude a metallic object in the sky it was shaped like a tear drop, but no noise was heard.  It was traveling very fast across the sky and disappeared within 5 seconds.  I thought it was metallic, because it was shining silvery in the moonlight.

My mother, has on many occasions seen lights high in the sky, traveling at great speed.
At times, some also seem to hover above and close to our house late in the evenings.   They appear circular in shape, with the objects reflecting light.  These travel too fast to be a plane and can be heard as they fly overhead, but these others sightings generate no sound at all.

Event Description:
UFO Report
At approximately 11:00 PM, a "ball" of yellow light became visible overhead in the south western sky, below the low cloud cover over Baulkham Hills.

My husband watched the light from our backyard swimming pool.  He rushed upstairs to show me the light - after opening the western facing window, I was able to view a bright star shaped orange-yellow light, approximately 10 times the size of a commercial plane as it moved overhead in a northerly direction.  There was no sound at all.

The light traveled at the speed of a commercial plane, and followed a similar trajectory for a minute before it ceased moving.  It remained suspended over the north of the sky below the low cloud cover, and wavered intermittently for a several minutes.  The wavering effect appeared to result from the light being very close to the cloud cover, and occasionally cloud passed over it.

The light appeared to move slightly from left to right, but with an overall stationary effect - at times I wondered if it might be a flare.  The light did not extinguish however, and slowly turned to the East.  At this point I checked the distance between the light and my TV antenna to gauge its direction and movement.  The light moved past my antenna, but started to become obscured by clouds.

I continued to watch the light from my window until a low glow from beneath cloud cover was obscured by my rooftop.

I called Sydney Airport to report the light. All aircraft had safely left the airport and there were no reports of aircraft on fire.  My husband remains convinced that when the light passed overhead it looked like a noiseless craft on fire.  I left my phone number and name.  Sydney Airport gave me a UFO report number to call.

I then called the UFO report line on a number given me by Sydney Airport.  The number I called: 07 3376 1780.  I reported the event verbally, just as it is reported in this email.  I left my phone number and name.

Next, I called Castle Hills Police station and made a report, however the police officer laughed at me in a good natured way. My demeanor on the phone was neutral and calm and I reported the matter in a precise matter of fact manner.  The officer said he would see if any other reports cam in before filing a report.  I left my phone number and name.

Next I reported the event to Sydney Daily Telegraph.  There had been no other reports at this stage.

Next I called Bureau of Meteorology.  There was none at the Bureau however I was transferred to an on-call staff member.  I was told the light was probably a meteor, however I explained that the trajectory was not steep enough, and also that the light orbited the skyline below cloudline, then stopped.  The gentleman was not interested and referred me to Sydney Observatory, where I recorded a message on an answering service that appears more oriented towards booking tours, than to reporting events.

I am a cynical, skeptical person who is scientific in methodology.  I work as a Telecommunications Wireless Technical Product Development Manager, and consider myself to be well informed, articulate and non-gullible.  I am seeking a plausible explanation to this event, and I am sure a rational explanation exists.

I am hopeful of understanding this event, because it is unique in my experience.  After 25 years in the bush and 15 in Sydney, this is my first sighting of this nature - even though I have had ample opportunity to study the night sky, meteorites, and other cosmic phenomenon.

Cheers

Event Description:
My sister and I were going to catch our bus, at 7:30 AM.

We pulled off Malabar Rd., in Sawyers Valley, right onto the Great Eastern Highway, towards Perth.

Just before the Sawyers Shops, on the left hand side of the highway, was a metallic looking saucer, perfectly still, with a green glow underneath. It was hovering in midair above a paddock.

My bus that we were to get on, was in Sawyers. I sat in this bus for a good 10 minutes before we took off, watching this UFO. The entire time, it was just sitting there, in midair, maybe 20 meters above the Earth.

Many people would have sighted this, being that is was off a busy highway.

Event Description:
I saw what I thought was an aeroplane (in the shape of a space shuttle) just flying through the air and noticed very bright lights (shining through what appeared to be its windows), flames and sparkles coming from the back of the object.

Because of this vision, I thought it was in danger and believed this object was going to crash.  I switched my tractor off (as I was in the middle of a paddock) to hear any sounds but there was complete silence from this object.. no rumbling sounds of an engine to be heard...  it then made an 'L' shaped turn, then quick as a flash, it just vanished and all I could see was 2 little dots.

It was then I realised it definitely was NOT an aeroplane and definitely NOT a comet. I know that whatever it was, this object was something that had been built. The bit that gets to me is that surely I would have heard sounds from its engine (I hear aeroplanes every day from higher altitude) but this object MADE NO SOUND!

Reported By: "FJA" - Fairfield, NSW - Australia - December 18, 2004
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Fairfield, NSW (20 km W of Sidney) Australia - Date: September 6 - 7, 1983 - Time: 12:00 AM - Witnesses: 2 - Shape: Cylindrical - Number Of Objects: 1 - Object Hovered
Event Description:
Dear Brad, Hi, I was browsing the web and came across your site and decided to share my story with you to see if know of any other information relating to the peculiar incident that I will relate as follows.

At around midnight on the night of September 6/7 1983 myself and my best friend at the time sighted a large UFO passing over Fairfield, NSW (a suburb about 20 km west of Sydney).

It was basically cylindrical in shape with a pointed end at the front and was periodically emitting a "lightning type" flash from the rear. I could not estimate its altitude but the object appeared to me about the size an ocean liner would be at a height of approximately 1000 meters.

The weather was clear with little or no cloud cover. Also no sound of any kind was heard either from the object or anywhere else for that matter even though the area is densely populated and no traffic was evident even though the sighting was right next to a major road.

The object appeared totally black in colour and I could not discern any windows or protuberances. At one point, the object appeared to stop and "hover" before proceeding north until it was out of sight. The object moved very slowly and I guess the whole sighting took about 3-4 minutes.

The next day, severely shaken, I checked out the papers to find that the sighting had made the front page of the National Daily Mirror and had apparently been seen by various witnesses all along the East Coast from Victoria to Northern QLD.

However the reports published were at variance with my experience as they described a brightly lit object or a "Christmas Tree as big as an ocean liner." The small photos accompanying the article showed some smudgy looking lights, but gave no indication of the objects shape. The article ended with an evaluation by "experts" that the object was "probably" returning "space junk"-- a conclusion I find highly dubious at best. There was no follow-up to this incident in the media to my knowledge.

There is however an odd and jarring "twist" to this already strange story.

My friend, who was with me throughout the whole incident, had been behaving strangely for some weeks prior to the incident (including going into spontaneous "trancelike" states and communicating with "disembodied voices) and on the early evening of the night of the sighting had appeared at my home in an extremely agitated condition. He insisted that I accompany him in his car, to a prearranged spot, where he insisted that he would be "picked up" by three "angels"whom (he said) had told him to be there the previous night!

When he told me this I immediately assumed that he was on the verge of some sort of breakdown so I decided to "play along " with his "delusion" until I could think of what to do.

We ended up driving around the western suburbs of Sydney for some hours while he excitedly raved on to me about the upcoming "meeting" and I warily observed him and kept my distance.

Then about 1130 PM, he suddenly parked the car outside a local high school and insisted that we get out and walk around the block. This we did and it was when we had rounded the block and were on our way back to the car that the UFO appeared.

Stranger still when the object stopped and "hovered" momentarily it did so exactly above his parked vehicle! My friend at this time was yelling out to "come and get him" while at the same time I remember screaming out "no!" and had decided to take refuge in the nearest house (by kicking down the door if neccessary) when the object started to move off.

After we had calmed down a bit, my friend left still babbling while I went back home and lay on the couch the rest of the night, wondering if I had caught my friends "insanity" somehow.

The next day I felt some relief that the thing had been sighted by others and that maybe it was just some sort of bizarre coincidence that my friend had decided to have his breakdown during a spectacular UFO incident, but the content of his "delusion"and the behaviour of the UFO certainly left some unsettling questions in my mind for years to come.

Sadly, after we parted ways that night, my friend went home where his manic behaviour and fantastic story led to his being taken to the local hospitals psych section by his family.

He was committed for some time and never seemed to recover (especially from the psych drugs they helpfully administered) and I lost touch with him after a few years.

I have managed to survive intact, but naturally such an incident leaves its mark and led me some years later to research into the whole area of UFO's and the Paranormal, to see what could be concluded from the evidence available to me.

As your probably aware it is hard to derive hard and fast conclusions from such a wild and
diverse subject. However, I did discover some cases where some sort of "telepathic" contact was reported prior to sightings or contacts (if this indeed is what happened to my friend).

My gut feeling, however is that whatever is going on is not beneficial to mankind and the whole thing seems like some kind of covert operation, the object of which is anybody's guess.

My question to you is do you have any other detailed information about this particular sighting and also has an experience like mine happened to anyone else in Australia to your knowledge? I have searched various websites and their archives but as yet have not even found a reference to it. I still have the front page of the newspaper from 07/09 83 that mentioned the sighting.

Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Yours sincerely    FJA

Event Description:
I was having a quiet, deep and meaningful with a friend on his balcony over
looking the Canning River on the western bank in Mount Pleasant.

The conversation paused and I lent back to take in the night sky. Directly across the
river about 1 km away and around 20 m in the air, this object appeared over
suburban houses on the Eastern Bank in Manning. It hovered for a few seconds
then speed off at an unfathomable speed to the North east but my eyes didn't
follow it to the horizon. It disappeared while heading that direction about 2 km on
estimate.

The object was about he size of a jet. All I could see was what I think was
the back of it considering the direction is sped off in. Being the back, what I saw
was black, narrow diamond in shape, with a Reddish Brown light in the center of the
back and 2 dull White lights on the extremes.

Because I could only see the back I only saw a 2D profile but I believe it would have been Triangle in Shape considering post research but I will never know. It was silent which I noted because I was under a common an Airoplane route for International flights heading to Perth International.

If it was so close and was a Plane I should have been able to hear it.

Event Description:
Since December 2003, my flatmate and I have intermittently seen traveling "stars" in the sky over Double Bay and Bondi Beach. We're both keen star watchers and don't abuse drugs etc.

At first I tried to argue that they were satellites, however, when I saw three flying in a triangular formation and then just disappear (on a clear night) I have to reason that they may be something else!

They seem to take their time, sometimes they hover, sometimes they zig zag in their course, have seen some pulsating/or "glowing." I can't believe that no-one else has seen them, having been scanning the Sydney papers and there's nothing in there.

Even my mum saw them - I took her out in the backyard and showed her! It is possible that some are satellites, however the unexplainable stuff makes it stand to reason that they are UFOs.

IS anyone else seeing them over Sydney??? Am a bit freaked!

Event Description:
Well, actually I did not see the craft, but I remember it well, even though I was only 7 yrs old.

Apparently a craft landed on our school oval and many kids saw it. I remember men came to the school and asked the children to draw on the blackboard what they saw.

What they drew was an oval shaped craft with portholes on the side of it. I remember the kids saying about the different colours coming from it.

I have never forgotten about it all these years later. I'm 42 yrs old now, and still think about it.

The Oval Light
We were going to Bay View Restaurant in Woy Woy, The Central Coast New South Wales, where outside the restaurant, I was distracted by something in the corner of my eye.

So I looked up and I saw a reasonably large oval light in the sky (much bigger than any light an aeroplane could possibly have). The light then flashed four times in one position, then immediately papered in another part of the sky, a long distance from where it originally flashed.

In its new position it flashed another four times, it then was immediately in another new position in the sky. The oval light continued doing this until it was out of sight.

Event Description:
While sitting out on our porch in Surfers Paradise, Friday Night 19th December 2003 MIDNIGHT... My flatmate and I witnessed 7 Stars in the sky.

At first I thought I was seeing things, because the stars seemed to move. I stood up and my flatmate who was sitting opposite me wanted to know why I was so jumpy. When he saw what I was looking at he instantly took notice.

The stars were a pink colour and they were hovering around each other and it seemed two of them were touching, although they may have been passing each other. The seven lights then passed over Surfers Paradise and one by one, disappeared until two were remaining.

The stars faded out. I grabbed my Sony Mini DV camera and shot as much as I could, unfortunately the footage on my TV is very ambiguous, but on a HI RES monitor you should see quite a bit of UFO activity.

Please let me know if anyone else reported this sighting. Can capture photos from the footage to send you if you would like them.

About a week and a half after my 19th December sighting, I was sitting out on the porch with my flat mate yet again.

This time I was facing the opposite direction to the first sighting. We were talking about the subject of UFO's and discussing our recent sighting.

While speaking to him in the sky above his head, a star appeared out of nowhere, moved erratically within a small area and blinked out in what appeared to be a rapid trajectory into space.

My husband Aaron came running into the house and called me outside.

It was broad daylight, a beautiful clear sunny day with no clouds. He had looked up at the moon which was about a half moon and saw a whitish object high up in the atmosphere which seemed to be circling the moon.....I thought at first it might be a satellite but can we see them in daylight with the naked eyes?

After he pointed it out to me, I ran inside for the binoculars. I found the object now some further distance lower then the moon. My hands were shaking so I couldn't get a good look at it, but it appeared to be silver/metallic oval as it shone in the sun. It also appeared to have something coming down so that it looked like a parachute shape. It couldn't have been a parachute as Aaron had seen it circling the moon.

I handed him the binoculars, but he couldn't find it again..it had disappeared.

Reported By: John H. - Adelaide, SA, Australia - October 20, 2003
Subject: Multiple UFO Sighting - Location: Southern area South of RANAS HMAS ALBATROSS, NOWRA, NSW, Australia - Date: Between 1974 and 1976 - Time: Pre dawn till about 8 am - Witnesses: >15 - Objects Shape: teardrop. Objects appeared to change shape of bright unpainted metallic surface  - Number of Objects: 6 - Objects maneuvered at great speed in lineal formation and slowly hovered before random aerial display - Naval Air Arm personnel and fighter pilots aware.
Event Description:
I was a naval aircraft maintainer in the Fleet Air Arm preparing A4G Skyhawk fighter-bombers for a dawn sortie at the HMAS Albatross on the day. (I cannot remember when, but a newspaper article in the local paper about strange overnight activities inland from Bateman’s Bay appeared about two days later.)

I was doing my preflight inspections on the flight line with other 805 / 724 squadron personnel when our attention was drawn by flying objects entering airspace over the bush land southeast of the base.

There were about six objects flying at a rapid speed (near super sonic as no boom was noticed) in an easterly direction. These objects appeared to be teardrop in shape most of the time, but would change shape and were reflecting the first rays of the sun brightly from their unpainted metal surfaces.  No sounds were omitted from them.

Their appearance was strange, but their activities just astounded. Although they were several kilometers away, they were observed swooping down to about treetop level then up again to return from the area of the Princess Highway and headed west, out of sight.

We asked each other if we really saw them, but they soon returned and did similar maneuvers for about 10 minutes. We found that we needed to work and observe at intervals. I noticed that they slowed down to helicopter speed in a wheel formation and slowly rotated around Pigeonhouse Mountain, a mesa like formation about 14 kilometers south of us and just inland from Bateman’s Bay.

As our pilots arrived, the UFOs were breaking formation and randomly shooting high into the atmosphere and returning in an erratic manner. (Understood to be “the falling leaf effect”). They also changed direction without slowing down. (Impossible to survive such forces.)

We told the skyhawk pilots that they had company up there this day. One replied, “Oh #@!^, not again!”  We busied ourselves to launch the fighters but by the time we were returning to the line shack, the UFOs had dispersed and left the area. It felt like observation was 45 minutes to an hour. Weather was clear.

We knew that on that day no other aircraft from our base had taken off. We also knew that they were not Australian Military aircraft. The nearest RAAF Base was Fairburn, Canberra ACT about 200km away. A base mainly used for VIP aircraft. (Ground crew always spent sortie time reading pilots’ aircraft identification magazines.)

Even though aircraft activity of this sort would have compelled any one of us to report possible attacking aircraft to the Airfield Tower, to my knowledge, no one ever did.  It was discussed amongst the ground personnel during the day and the lack of cameras was lamented, but the subject wasn't brought up until the Bateman’s Bay reports two days later; stories of strange lights and people in bush shacks being besieged by strangers, their noises and bright lights. It was apparent that these objects had been active for most of the previous night and we had only witnesses the tail end of the activity.

I cannot understand why I did not make a note of the date and times, why the sighting never left the base, nor why no other witnesses ever came forward.
They were not; swamp gas; Venus; ball lightning; garbage bags carrying fires or unusual cloud formations. For those who doubt the story: don't say anything until you see one or as in this case many.

I have delayed reporting because of the time problem.  I was going to revisit Nowra to check the newspaper date but it hasn't happened. I also left the navy in 1977 to join a Police Force and thought such information might jeopardize my career.  Thanks to “John” of Fedpol for showing me the courage. I might get hit by a bus tomorrow and no one would have ever reported it.

Event Description:
At about 7:30 PM, my partner, my daughter and myself were traveling down Boronia Road towards Boronia, when above the crest was five clear burning Red stars or round objects.

We pulled over immediately and watched. They were in a pattern and a plane in the
distance seemed to be flying below them. They all looked very high, however the clouds were blowing behind them and small normal stars were appearing and disappearing behind the clouds.

We continued to watch as they drifted to our left and behind trees, all at the same speed, in the opposite direction of the wind and clouds.

We continued driving and we got to Alchester shops where my partner went in and left my daughter and I in the car. Suddenly there were two more approaching from the right and were much bigger and seemed to be closer and going faster. They also streamed across the sky, glowing Red and suddenly disappeared. As we drove off
people were standing on the street pointing to the sky.

Wanting to know if any one else saw these.

Hi Guys,
I stumbled across your site tonight and found this event worth reporting, Australia day 2002, it happened.

I was sitting outside with two mates just finishing off some steaks after a BBQ when a few balloons went by in the sky so naturally we were looking upward.

It was then just at that moment this blue orb was making its way across the sky, we all saw it, it was a beautiful clear day. It was traveling fast about ten thousand feet heading toward Amberly Air Base I know because I see the F111's heading in that flight path regularly.

It made no noise but it was circular and fairly large and blue traveling at a rate of knots. My mates are studying engineering, so naturally they were astonished as I was. It was freaky stuff and I'm sure more people saw it.

Event Description:
Hi
My name is John, but the last name and email address I have given you are false, for reasons you will shortly understand.

I have only a few months to live now with pancreatic cancer, so they can't do anything to me for revealing this, but I don't want my family harassed.

In 1976 I was with the Federal Police. Much like the FBI.  We had responsibility for international airport security among other things. I was with a small group of officers based at Sydney Airport.

One clear warm day, I was told to get myself up to the observation deck ASAP. When I got there, everyone was watching a silver disc about 30 feet in diameter hover over the Number 1 runway, about halfway down the strip looking south from the terminus.

All air traffic was given the "circle at current height, do not approach" message while this thing slowly moved around over the runway about 20-30 feet from the ground, 500 yards from us. It stayed doing this for around 10-15 minutes, then shot straight up and disappeared.

I was told to man the phone and all public inquires were routed to me. I had to take the name and addresses of all callers over the next 2 days and then two others and myself were given the job of going to all their homes and convincing them that they didn't see what they reported.

The incident did make it to the papers at the time and was later written up in one of those UFO books, but the official line was public denial.

We must have gone to about 11 or 12 homes over those few days. I never heard anything officially about it except our boss told us it never happened and we would be in serious trouble if we ever spoke about it.

Later, about 1981-1982, I did a relief tour of duty at the US base "Pine Gap" in central Australia. I never saw anything while I was there but there was something definitely going on with specialists and personnel there who wouldn't normally be associated with just a radar and listening post.

There were several thousand US personnel there and many flights in and out every day. Everyone disappeared into a few reasonably small buildings each day so either they were very cramped or they went further underground.

Occasionally the public would see lights at night there and some of the others said they were encouraged to make the public believe it was the base personnel perpetrating hoaxes in their spare time just for fun.

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Colac, Victoria, Australia - Date: June 29, 2003 - Time: 6:20 PM - Witnesses: 2 -  Object's Shape: Light - Number of Objects: 1 - Object: Made No Sound - Object: Changed Colors - Additional Information:  I am mailing you from Colac, Victoria in Australia, (approx. 1 hours drive away from Balarat).
Event Description:
On Saturday night, 29th June 2003, at approximately 6:20 PM, my nine year old son and I were making our way in from the paddock when he spotted a "shooting star."

I turned to see what he was talking about and saw a very bright white light slowly making its way across the sky. It was about the size of a tennis ball, definitely much larger than the stars.

The thing that caught my attention, was the fact that it appeared not to be moving in a straight line, as an aircraft or satellite would do, it didn't wiggle all over the place, but definitely didn't go in a straight line.

It was also not going the usual speed of an aircraft.   It seemed to take it's time moving across the sky, approximately 1 or 2 minutes, it then appeared to slow down, stop, glow a red colour and then shrunk and disappeared. It traveled across the sky from the South to the East.

It is winter here now and so gets dark at about 5:00 PM, so it was a very black night, no moon and a completely clear sky.

There are a couple of airports around us in Geelong and surrounding areas and of course, Melbourne.

We are very curious as to whether there have been any other reports like this one.   There was no sound.   No electrical disturbance and all seemed very leisurely.   We couldn't make out any shape and there was no vapour trail.

We were particularly interested in a similar siting in Balarat an hour north of us, in the year 2000.

Many thanks
Justine and Declan

Reported By: Margaret H. - Darwin/Sydney, Australia-February 11, 2003
Subject: UFO Sightings - Location: Between Darwin and Sydney, Australia - February 1992 and May 1993 -  Early AM - Witnesses: 5 - Objects Shape: Light - Object Had Lights - Additional Information: Provided by The Webmaster: "The road they were on is the road up the centre of Australia from Adelaide to Darwin. The "Devils Marbles" is one spot on that road where there are a large collection of house sized granite boulders loosely scattered beside the road. There isn't even a roadhouse on that highway for 400Km at each stretch."
Event Descriptions:
In February 1992,  at 4: 00 AM,  we were driving south from Tennant Creek (near Devils Marbles.)  Everything was pitch black (no moon at all.)

We were moving house from Darwin to Sydney (that's to explain why we were driving with 3 kids 1 dog and 1 cat at that time of the morning.)  We had anticipated driving in the dark, so we had some very bright driving lights professionally installed on the front of the car.

We came around a bend and to the right hand side a huge area (like a football field) was lit up..........the light was coming from above. My husband and I looked at each other and said "Oh -----!" and he said "We'll keep going," at that moment, all electric's in the car stopped.

Everything cut out, lights, dash instrumentation, engine the works. We stopped the car and re started it (I took note of the time) and proceeded on our way.   About two minutes later the same thing happened, and about another two minutes after that, it happened again.   So we re started the car and nothing else happened.

We thought it may have been the new spotlights on the car, but we had that car for a while longer and nothing like that every happened again. No time was lost in that instance.

The next one took place in May 1993.   We were once again moving house from Sydney to Darwin.   Driving car, 3 kids, dog and cat.   We were around the Devils Marbles  (Again!)

The kids were getting bored in the back, so we started this game where we would see headlights in the distance and would either a) guess the length of time before we met the vehicle or b) guess the distance till we met the vehicle.   It was usually about 11-14 kilometres and 5-8 kilometres.

We saw a set of lights (like headlights.) So we all had our guesses. We kept driving and driving, but the lights seemed no closer.   Eventually we were close enough to see a bunch of orange lights over the top (like a truck would have.)  We presumed it was a "road train" (that is a type of truck that is prevalent in Darwin.)

We were getting closer, and slowed down considerably because it seemed a little "odd". The two main lights that we had seen were about 25 feet off the ground!  By the time it passed by us it seemed huge.

We waited for the usual "jostle" and noise that accompanies passing a big truck, but it was soundless. We stopped the car and looked back for tailights, there was nothing. It had taken us 32 kilometres and 21 minutes to meet the "vehicle."  Once again no time was lost.   Scared the heck out of us!
Thanks, Margaret H.

Time: Summer, PM - Witnesses: Several - Objects Shape: Triangle - Object had Lights - Additional Information:22 KM from Cowra, called "Darbys Falls Observatory
Event Description:
Hello, I live in a small country town in New South Wales Cowra.

There is an astronomical observatory 22 KM from Cowra, called "Darbys Falls Observatory. I am an Astronomer there.

Back in 1999, it was a summer evening. We had a group of people out on the platform, showing them around the night sky, when all of a sudden 3 bright lights, in a perfect triangle went overhead, from south to north, about 2.8 mag. moving quite fast. The group were in amazement. So was I, to tell you the truth.

Two of them asked me what it was, of course, I couldn't give them a logical answer. So, I said in all honesty, "UFO's" They smiled at me and thought I was having them on, but I wasn't.

I have seen the same thing, two more times, in the past 2.5 years. Same direction, same speed. I know they are not "satts" or any manmade thing in orbit.

Whatever they are, is quite magical.

Anyway, I hope this has been some help to you. As a person who looks at the sky a lot, I can't help but wonder what is really happening above our atmosphere.

Best Regards,
Tony M.

Event Description:
Hi my name is Lou.
Last night in the Warburton East area N/E of Melbourne, my neighbour called me over to look at an object that was moving fast across the sky north to south.

It appeared like a bright round star, flashing red to blue to white light. It then stopped in the South, over Lilydale area and hovered side to side, zig zagged and moved up and down, kind of like a boxer weaving.

When a plane flew in the sky near it, it shot an orange light out towards the plane. We watched it for 2-3 hours.....5 adults 3 kids.........hope this is of interest to you.

NOTE: In addition to the above UFO Sighing Report, Louise followed-up with The Webmaster and Author of our "Aussie Connection" with this additional information:

Dear Brad,
The Lady that lived in the house before me saw UFO formations twice over Mount Victoria, which you can see from my lounge window (she was here for 7 years) Another local lady has seen them in same area.

I'm a 36 year old charge nurse ....So reasonably level headed....not known for two many flights of fantasy ... LOL . I noticed you are interested in other sightings ......My Dad, now deceased, saw a black panther in Bright in 1974. I remember him telling us about it when we were on holiday......

On Wednesday, June 12, 2002, a woman companion and myself were driving from Leongatha to Mirboo North, when we encountered a UFO. "My friend and I were traveling to our work," Emilie reported, "That Wednesday, we sighted something in the sky, but I put it off as a jet. It appeared long and silver-looking."

One week later, however, on June 19, 2002, the silver object returned at the same time and I took some interest in it. It seemed to be getting closer. As it got closer, it appeared to be at a 45-degree angle and of a silver color. While my friend continued driving, I was watching and it came down to our right-hand side and appeared to be hovering above 200 meters away.

The next thing, it was gone. Then I looked up and it was in front of us again. It seemed to get closer and then further away before it vanished over the horizon.

Three oval-shaped lights, flying very high and very fast, from a South Easterly direction towards a North Westerly direction.

We observed them for only a few seconds before they disappeared, but after perhaps 2-3 minutes they reappeared going back the way they came.   There is a small public airport in our area but they were much too high to be coming from or going there.   On the way "out" two were flying next to each other and one was off to the right but they then almost merged.   On the way back there was one in the lead and one behind on either side - arrow head shape.

There were no flashing or blinking light (like an aircraft) and we heard nothing.   The sky was quite clear with a few hazy patches.   We have a Naval Base approximately 50 km South/East of here and an Air Force Base approximately 40 km to the North/West.

Event Description:
Hi Brad,
If you are keeping a sighting database, you can put one down for Perth.

Yesterday, a very strange thing happen to me.

These days all my lunch times (say 11:00-13:00) are spent on photographing panoramas. And if I am not working for client, I am working just to learn how to make them better.

So yesterday I was shooting in Wireless Hill park for about 1:30h continuously and in the evening I found that I have photographed a strange object hanging over the Perth.

I hadn't seen it during the shoot, because I rarely look at what I am photographing once all is set, as I have to watch angles on the tripod head and just keep taking pictures (12 or 18 per single panorama).

Funny thing is that neighbouring photos are overlapping and I can't find this - kind of triangular metallic object on previous or next overlapping image. Speed I am taking those photos is about 2-4 sec. So this thing had to move very fast.

I have to check the speed of the shutter on the camera I was using at the time, to try to determine the speed of it.

Very interesting. Damn camera beat me to seeing aliens first !!!!

Cheers

Event Description:
I looked up to the sky and saw a huge light, and the reason this fireball shaped object caught my eye was because of its size and speed.

It was too big to be so low without being distinguishable, as it looked to be well within our atmosphere. I know nothing that could fly along at such a notable speed and just look like a burning shaped meteorite.

IT seemed like a solid ball of flame or light with a tail of the same brightness as the 'head.' It moved along above me for about 5 seconds and then it moved from my sight due to buildings.

Object left a vapor trail - Object landed - There were aircraft in the area
Event Description:
My wife and I live on top of a hill in rural Brisbane. We were watching TV at about 8:30 PM, when we noticed a green trail appear in the sky.

Our house is all glass, and the light was reflected to the window behind the TV, so it grabbed our attention. Looking directly at the trail now, it was green in colour, and was the thickness of a crescent moon. The green trail appeared to crash in a West-South-West direction very close to Lake Manchester.

On further investigation we went outside to get a better view, and noticed an object very similar to those objects shown on the video tape that we had seen on "A Current Affair" nearly two weeks earlier.

I alerted our neigbours who live about 1 km away, but their aspect did not allow them to see the object. The object remained lit for about 3 minutes, before it seemed to dim. We could no longer see the object. I watched for about 10 minutes and could only see the one light.

About ten minutes after I had fallen asleep I was awoken by a helicopter flying above. I went outside but could not see it. Did anyone else see this object?

Subject1: UFO Sighting - Location: St. Ives, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia - Date: 08/03/2000
Time: 10pm PM - Witnesses: 2 - Objects Shape: Light - Number of objects: 1
Event Description:
I went to visit a friend one night in St. Ives, just outside Sydney. Around 10 PM we were sitting on her back verandah looking at the stars. My friend remarked that one of the stars was moving. I gazed casually towards the region of the sky she was pointing to saying "well if it's moving, then it's obviously not a star." This star-type light was very definitely moving slowly in the sky (obvious because the other lights (stars) around it were stationary).

We were wondering what it might be... plane? Possible but no flashing lights. Helicopter? Would have to be incredibly high up so not likely. Meteor? Way too slow. Satellite? Most likely... however, just as we were watching and wondering, the damn thing stopped moving!! That really stunned us because it just didn't make sense.

After looking away for a moment, we were unable to determine which light it was we had been following. All the stars looked the same and none were moving any longer. Shortly afterwards we went inside the house. I'm not claiming that this was necessarily a 'flying saucer,' just recording the fact that I saw 'something' out of the ordinary and don't know what it was.

Reported By: Brad M. - Australia - December 2, 2001
Date: The 15th January,1974.
Location: Twofold Bay (Eden), Far South Coast, New South Wales, Australia. - Time: 0530 to 0615 am
Event Description:
One star like light moving in purposeful patterns, at great height in the southern sky. Working night shift as Maintenance Engineer at the Woodchip Mill in Eden, New South Wales. I had just finished a job on the shiploading wharf and was getting into the maintenance truck. One of those ultra bright phosphorescing meteors that light up the whole sky and leave a fading trail appeared at about 80º to 85º elevation, coming directly downward to the south of my position. It shot down to about the 45º elevation position, directly to my south. Instead of disappearing it actually stopped dead and stayed brightly lit (about the same magnitude as Venus).

After about 30 seconds, it started to crawl to my right at the same elevation, until it had traversed about 30º of arc.... And then stopped again. It then crawled back to its first stopping point and stopped again. Then it shot upwards at a 45º angle while greatly phosphorescing again and leaving a trail just like when it first appeared.

At the top of its fast Shooting Star Act it stopped dead again. Then it crawled left, for 20º 0r 30º before becoming a shooting star again in another direction and then stopping. This crawling and shooting went on for 45 minutes over about 90º of arc of the southern sky and from 45 to 90º elevation.

Being alone on the wharf I had no one to co-witness witness my sighting. As the sky lightened before the dawn in the East (to my left over the ocean) the rest of the stars faded but this UFO stayed bright but decided to exit by crawling directly east until lost in the coming dawn. During this entire performance I estimate (My military Officer Training) that the UFO was certainly in excess of 80,000 ft and probably around 150,000 ft. When "crawling" it moved with the relative speed that a civil airliner appears to when it is at full cruising height (35,000 ft).

Having just exited the Military I was aware of the lack of Earthly technology able to undertake this performance. Nothing existed that could Shoot like a star, Fly at such heights, Stay stationary for lengthy periods, and be supported so far from the nearest possible base of earthly operations. (12,000 miles from the USA and no Australian base could hide operations like it, especially in 1974).

There was no question in my mind I witnessed extraterrestrial technology in action. Technology aside, What about the psychology and motivations of the performance?

  • Questions and Observations.
  • The first "shooting star act" just maybe could have been atmospheric entry. What then was the 6 or 7 following times it acted like a shooting star? Was it an incompetent attempt at disguising themselves as a known phenomenon? Or was it a blatant attempt to attract attention?
  • If it was the first, then how come they are so incompetent?
  • If the second, why don't they just come on down and buzz our streets and buildings?
  • What would be a UFO's reasons for staying so high? For hanging around such a remote area with no military, scientific or other known interests.

These and a hundred other questions make no sense, the possible answers make no sense.

Obviously the psychology and motivations behind this UFO sighting are going to remain, like UFO's themselves, unidentified. Nevertheless these questions from this sighting are what led me personally to pursue a lifetime of UFO Investigating.

Should anyone have had a similar sighting, I would be extremely interested in hearing from you.

Event Description:
Early this morning I got up to go to the toilet and the dogs were barking, so I went into the playroom and looked outside and noticed a bright orange light in the sky.

I called out to my husband to come and have a look. It was about 2.30 am we watched it move slowly through the sky. It wasn't flashing or there were no beams of light coming from it. It was just an orange light moving fairly low and slowly across the sky. As it went over our house we opened the playroom door to see if we could hear any sounds coming from it, but it was silent.

We continued to watch it fly over, it took about 6 minutes to go out of sight. As it got further away it seemed to fade and then go bright again, as if a torch would go if the battery was going flat. Then it went out altogether. It wasn't jumping or flashing or spinning around or anything, it just moved very slowly across the sky. It wasn't up very high either.

We are just wondering if anybody else in our area had seen it at all, and what could it be?

Zip Code: 6027 - Witnesses: 4 - Objects Shape: Light - Number of objects: 4-6 - Object had lights

Event Description:
November 12, 2001   Sighting Number 1
During the early hours of the 11/12/2001, myself and three friends were looking at the constellations visible in the southern hemisphere.

All three of us noticed lights similar of any conventional satellite, except these lights would suddenly either stop, change direction or hover side to side.

In some cases, there would be more than one light passing each other in the sky. These lights moved very quickly covering on side of the sky to another, in less than 15 seconds.

In each case, these lights would move quickly then stop. Through the binos, the light seemed to be orange/blue & elongated and moving left to right, right to left then begin flying again to eventually disappear.

We are not claiming that these lights are alien, however it was very strange to see seemingly normal lights move so quickly and oddly.

NOTE: Mystical Universe's UFO Investigator, Brad Mildern, (
http://mysticaluniverse.com/auzconn/auzcom,  The Aussie Connection ~ mysticaluniverse.com ) located in Australia, contacted Todd. In response, Todd advised of another current and unusual experience. The details are as follows:

Thank you for your interest and thank you also, for the work you do.

Event Description:
November 17, 2001   Sighting Number 2
Out of interest, this morning (17/11/01) was another strange one. There were so many faint star like objects moving through the sky. Their movements were at times rapid through the sky and then suddenly, remaining motionless. At times it looked as if the objects were forming with other strange anomalies. The objects also passed by one another not to mention their peculiar line of flight. Once an object had slid through the visible sky, they'd tend to disappear quickly or simply vanish.

These habits seem far too odd to be satellites, planes or meteorites.

Had several witnesses and also managed to get a glimpse of the anomaly through powerful bino's and an 8" refractor telescope using 20 mm eye piece.

I really am quite stunned by the observations and can only speculate as to the origin of these faint, moving stars.

I looked outward to notice an object of light moving in the sky above some farming properties. The object was low at first, then climbed to an astonishing height in seconds, almost straight up.

The light grew brighter and was easily twice the size of the brightest planet or star in the sky. As it ascended, it left behind it a trail like a comet. At one stage, it paused in mid air and then as if like a falling star, only heading the wrong way, it appeared to shoot straight upward out of the atmosphere.

As it moved, it pulsed a bright white light that grew weaker as it got higher. It then turned at a right angle and vanished from my sight. This object made no noise what so ever. The only noise was the occasional bleat from a lamb in the paddock and crickets chirping. This was my first sighting of an UFO and I hoped it wouldn't be my last.

Then two years later, I was walking home from my town when I noticed a glow of orange light that was behind some heavily rain filled clouds. It was night, the object made no sound and it traveled in a manner almost like a helicopter every now and then, pausing still in the sky. After it paused still, it would then move in a different direction from what it was traveling.  I watched this object for over half an hour. It was like it was searching for something. It then moved very fast toward the North at an extremely fast motion. It resembled a meteorite traveling horizontal in the sky.
This happened in my town and I do not now if there are any other people who seen this strange object. I suspect not many as it was raining hard and late at night.

Subject: UFO Sighting/Abduction By Aliens - Location: Western Australia - Date: 1993/4/5 - Time: PM
Objects Shape: Light - Number of objects: 1 - Object had lights - Additional Info: South Western Australia, over a forest
Event Description:
I have a fascination on UFO's, aliens, abductions etc. I have seen a UFO fly across the forest several years ago. The object was small, emitting a white/orange light, and traveling at an incredible speed. I was looking outside and saw the object traveling at a 30 degree angle. The object was visible for only about 2 seconds.

On other occasions, I have awoken in the night to see blinding lights through my curtains. This happened several times when I was young, however I was always too scared to look out the window and see what the light was coming from. My window faces towards a forest and so there's absolutely no chance that the lights a car headlight, or torch etc. When the lights have appeared there is no sound whatsoever. I have had several vivid dreams about being on board a UFO.

In one instance, I am standing in a craft with two small beings, we are looking outside a window onto a street, where we are looking at myself (which is strange because I am already in the craft, but there I am looking down on myself). The two beings say "There's the earthlings." I have had the same dreams several times before, waking in the morning feeling very strange and sometimes scared. I'm not sure whether its just a dream, however it seems too vivid and real.

On one occasion, when blind drunk with mates, I have apparently recalled seeing aliens. Although drunk, I have heard that suppressed memories can arise. I eventually want to be put under hypnosis, to find out whether I have really been abducted, or if my mind is simply playing tricks on me. If anyone can relate to what I've just said, or had a similar experience I would appreciate you emailing me.

UFO Sighting/Alien Abduction - 1999 - August to December Alexandria, Sydney, Australia
I had previously thought that a logical deception for an urban night time UFO would be to turn a few lights on and pretend to be an aeroplane (nav lights). One night I was vacantly staring out a window when I noticed that someone had apparently built a tower in Sydney Park (approx.) with lights on. There is no tower there. Lights (3 in a row at first, then only two).

Similar to nav lights, except these stayed stationary for at least 5 to 10 minutes, no sound, then 1st one moved back and along came another one. Then they both vanished before my eyes, (no apparent movement). Spun me out, saw same thing on and off for a few weeks (approx. 6 sightings), moving in a manner unlike plane or chopper, and silent. Also witnessed by one other person (saw them vanish also). At one time I looked thru 60 mm telescope to ascertain detail.

Attempt by me at telepathic communication, answered by what appeared to be laser like 3 dots in a triangle lighting up. (had seen unexplained similar lights flashed over me & girl while walking along Erko Street years before ....Same thing seen by a mate in Randwick after I told him about it, musta been about 1997/98 - recalled this when I made aforementioned sighting.)

Also had triangular patch of raw skin 3 mm on a side on my left arm the same night of 1st UFO sighting, (one for the skeptics - removed by prayer). Same night bedroom invaded by apparently interdimensional entities apparently trying to replace mark on arm, they disappeared when I awoke (thanks Jesus) but managed to detect .. "see" them as they left. They appeared to be similar to alien depicted in "Predator" movie (I kid u not) but shorter.

Note: "Sky & Telescope" magazine Feb 2000 issue, picture of triangular marks on Mars, to me look like they turned up the laser beam and burned holes in Martian surface. Same triangular holes blasted in returned Russian spaceprobe late 1999.

At similar time saw in daylight Black, ugly, silent UFO flying over Erko post office. This one was unlike any plane I know of, had blacker than black colouring, had two vertical rows of yellowish lights converging at top, apparently unlike previous UFO's in that the lights were different. This one looked like stealth fighter on bad acid trip. Vaguely humanish feel to this one, like I said, I am pretty sure this one was different to previous sightings.
This is TRUE.

Has any one else seen similar? Let me know. I call then Thereforians (like maths symbol - laser beam).
I am NOT making this up.

NOTE from the Editor: Subsequent to this original report, Mystical Universe received this additional information from Dan, on July 5, 2001:

No probs RE posting online, this is 100% factual account. Certainly a close encounter, UFO, but a FAILED attempt by these entities at messing with me (thanks to God)

p.s.  I am very glad to find somebody who takes this seriously. I also think that further attempts have been made by these entities to freak me out.

Also, I think they may be connected to a certain high pitched whining sound and I am not at all sure that they come from outer space at all, perhaps they do, perhaps they come from some "netherworld" or other dimension. All I can say is that I'm not too keen on them.

Who can be sure? One thing is for sure, if some "organization" is involved with these entities, (collaboration, business deals, etc.) then they most certainly do not know what they are messing with. And whoever fights the truth WILL LOSE. Thanks for the support, belief etc., Praise the Lord, bless yazzall. Dan

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Ballarat Vic - Date: November 26, 2000 - Time: 9:40 PM
Witnesses: 2 - Objects Shape: Oval - Number of objects: 10 - Object had lights - Object left a vapor trail
Event Description:
Sunday 26/11/00 - 9:40pm location Ballarat City Central. I spotted at least 10 round to egg shape looking objects traveling North West to North East.

I was looking at the night sky though Vixen telescope Vc-200L and what l thought was a globule cluster which I just spotted, l turned my telescope towards it, l zoomed in on it using a spotting scope, riding piggy on the Vixen. What l saw was mind blowing. About ten objects moving faster than any thing I have ever seen.

Two objects were flying around the other objects, like no man made craft which l have ever seen. I got a look though my larger telescope and all l saw were bright objects, disc shape, but they were moving so quickly that l went back to the spotting scope, the area was wider and clearer. I could not see them without a scope.

The sighting only lasted an about a minute. l have seen a lot of satellites and meteors and this was none of those.

Later, l saw one object moving south to the north (with my roommate.) The object slowed, then turned slightly. It almost stopped then started up again and disappeared. That object was brighter than the other ones, you could it without a scope, it was brighter than Jupiter. You could see some trail smoke or something like smoke coming from it. A little bit later, we saw two more objects. They were seen, one for a few seconds, from the South to North moving around like a snake would move. The other one straight up bright one-second then flashing for a bit moving a little, and then it just shot straight up out of sight.

The objects of about 10 has got my mind twistong! The feeling when l first saw them, words cannot explain. They were not aircraft, not human anyway but, they were l think controlled by something. The size, l don't know if l couldn't see them with my eyes. They must have been some distance from me. The night was really clear, not one cloud in sight.

I really hope someone else saw what I did maybe in the Clunes area. They weren't birds, planes, satellites, or meteors. These objects will be in mind till l die.

Zip Code: 2262 - Witnesses: 3 - Objects Shape: Light - Number of objects: 3 - Object had lights
There were aircraft in the area
Event Description:
It was about 8:30 on a Saturday night and I was on the net. I looked up from the computer screen and out the window and there were three lights flying across the sky west to east.

First they were in the shape of triangle, then one of them started to slow down and the one on top moved closer to the ground so they were in a straight line. I thought to myself. 'Are these helicopters?'

I turned my screen off and couldn't tell, so I turned the light off and they were three fire orange lights. So, I went and saw my next-door neighbor cause he is into weird things and he got the binoculars out and said 'I've already seen these UFO's, hey where did one of them go? That didn't happen last time."

There were only two left. They flew straight east. It was the only weird thing I've seen on the central coast in Australia.

NOTE: Our Guest, Chris is very interested if anyone else saw what HE saw on August 26, 2000. If you did? Please email me here at:Edit4MUniv@aol.com and I will gladly forward your information to him.

It did not make any noise and was a bright clean white (including the tail) . The front of the object was smooth and round like a ball and was about the size of a golf ball held at arms length. It did not appear to have any beings of artificial material, nor life.

Subject: UFO Sighting & Unexplained Event  - Time of Sighting: PM - Country: Australia - Witnesses: 2
Objects Shape: Oval - Number of objects: 1 - The object had lights - Object had an Aura or Haze around it.
Event Description:
Its not my experience but the people who told me this I trust heaps and would not have made it up. One of my mates parents do the sound and lights for music productions and are on the road quite a bit. One evening they were in the middle of nowhere traveling to do a show somewhere and they saw a bloke on the side of the road hitchhiking but never stopped to pick him up. About twenty minutes later down the highway, they were shocked to see the same guy, on the same side of the road, holding out his thumb and didn't know what to make of it then out of nowhere a glowing object came up on the passenger side of the truck then around to the front of them hovering as they drove. They said it stayed there for only a brief moment, maybe 5 seconds and flew off. They were really spooked and were glad to get to their destination.
