UFO Sighting in Simi Valley, California
SPECIAL REPORT : UPDATE July 16, 2001 Additional Information provided by Don Robertson Four UFO Sightings Near Rocketdyne In Two Weeks By Don Robertson
"There may be much more to this story," said Ventura/Santa Barbara MUFON Director, Roger Leir, who sent me the report. Judging from the sister's comment alone, this reporter agrees. I'm trying to
contact Esther for more details.
Simi Valley sits under a ridge of the Santa Susana Mountains that the Boeing/Rocketdyne facility is built into, and which has been the site of many strange UFO sightings.
On June 29, at approximately 8:30 PM, Tom and a friend were leaving his house to go to work. He pointed to a distant object in the sky, backlit by the sunset. "It looked to be due North of us, about
three miles away," Tom reported, "Hovering over the Santa Susana Pass, at 2,000 feet of altitude. This is a test site for the Boeing/ Rocketdyne test facility. The weather was clear, and this was not
an atmospheric anomaly. We saw a dark diamond-shaped silhouette about the size of a mini-van. What struck me about the object was its apparent solidity and unnatural motionlessness," Tom
continued. "Both my friend and I have worked around aircraft. This object produced no exhaust plume, and there was no noise produced by any means of propulsion. After five minutes we noticed a
slight bobbing, a few feet of vertical movement. It was sudden and unnatural, as if the object was about to fall, but was able to catch itself and regain altitude."
"My girlfriend and her friend also saw the object, and didn't know what to make of it, so we drove toward the pass. When we were about a mile away we saw three helicopters approach and circle the
object at a distance of a few hundred feet. We lost sight of the object behind some trees. When the area came back into our view, the helicopters were circling alone. I parked the car a mile away from
the Santa Susana Pass and we watched the helicopters leave," Tom said.
Question is, did the object land at the Boeing facility (as others have in 1996 and 1998), or just
disappear, like the object seen by Esther Petersen, in Simi Valley?
But, Tom continued. "My mother saw a similar dark, diamond-shaped object without lights twice, in
the past two weeks around dusk. She was near the 5 and 118 Freeway interchange, and phoned several co-workers who were heading for work, who also saw it." I have asked Tom to furnish me with
the dates of those sightings by his mother.
But here's the kicker: Tom wrote me after his report appeared in Filer's Files # 28. He told me how his
father had worked for years in the aerospace business and had been involved in some "black projects" for various companies, including Rockwell, and Boeing. "My father claims, 'no Boeing aircraft were
flying during these periods (of the sightings)." One has to wonder what else he knows?
Tom claims to have been interested in UFOs since he was four. This was his first UFO sighting! He is 26.
Don
Mystical Universe is proud to publish the following information concerning a UFO Sighting that occurred on June 25, 2001.
Normally, here at Mystical Universe, we receive UFO Sightings from those who stop by and complete our Online Report Form, providing details as to their impressions of what transpired in front of their
eyes. These submissions are received from all over the Globe.
The Sighting we are posting in this instance is a bit out of the ordinary. In the process of researching
for Mystical Universe, we were fortunate to meet a gentleman by the name of Don Robertson. His credentials are impeccable. We had the pleasure of working with him, when we were in the process of
setting up our 'Alien Abduction' section.
Don had written an article concerning an abductee named Tim Cullen and the subsequent successful
'implant' removal surgery performed by Dr. Roger Leir. The 'implant' was removed from Mr. Cullen in February 2000.
As a result of this newborn friendship, we continue to stay in touch. Don has been generous enough
to share with Mystical Universe what you find below.
After you have had an opportunity to digest what is revealed by this Sighting, please don't miss
another opportunity! Visit Don Robertson's own web site, wherein he presents excellent articles on varied related subjects, including astounding information about the area surrounding Simi Valley,
California with emphasis on the Rocketdyne Facility. You will not be disappointed! We have included LINKS to his web site, at the bottom of this page.
The more documentation we can gather, the better our chances are of learning the TRUTH about UFO's. We cannot sit back and hope that someday, somehow the Truth will be revealed. The truth is
out there, good or bad, we have a right to know!
Kudos and heartfelt thanks go to Mr. Don Robertson and Dr. Roger Leir for allowing us to publish this fascinating story.
UFO Sighting in Simi Valley, California
Date of sighting: Monday, June 25, 2001.
Time: 3:00AM - Duration: 15-20 minutes - Sky conditions: Clear
Around 3:00AM on June 25, 2001, Esther Petersen was awakened by a bright light coming through her
bedroom windows. She got out of bed and looked out of the window to see what was causing it. "To the Northeast, I saw a very bright light in the sky, about the size of an orange, very high in the sky,"
she said. "There were the usual amount of stars, and the weather was clear, no clouds; unlimited visibility."
As she watched, the object moved slowly and seemed to turn. When this happened she saw that now
it was an irregular basketball shape emitting an orange light from the bottom of the object to the ground (She has made a drawing of what she saw, showing several distinct shapes.) At this time she
also witnessed several round objects come from the original object and hover around it.
She then went to waken her sister, and they both watched the object for approximately another five
minutes. Five minutes later everything just vanished. Her sister's only comment was that, "The stars were sure beautiful tonight."
Esther Petersen gave this report to Dr. Roger Leir, Section Director of Ventura/ Santa Barbara Counties MUFON. The woman later told Leir that she had also seen"a white, semi-clear figure standing
by her bed. She said she had received a thought telepathically that told her she would understand all this at a later date. She did not notice any other particular detail, other than that, "His hands were
large, and he seemed to fidget with them, as if he didn't know what to do with them."
"I have known this lady for many years," Dr. Leir said, and she is not prone to fantasy. In my opinion,
she is a very solid witness."
NOTE: The town of Simi Valley is located near Thousand Oaks, California, about 40 miles north of Los
Angeles. It is overlooked by the Boeing/Rocketdyne facility, which in the recent history has been the site of a good deal of UFO activity.
I received this message from Dr. Roger Leir on June 28, 2001.
