Event Description:
I was on a vacation to Managua, Nicaragua, and after sleeping in the bed at my hotel for about 3 hours, I had to use the lavatory.

I opened the door and heard an odd slurping noise coming from the toilet. I leapt in surprise at the two dim red eyes that were staring at me. They had no pupils. I switched on the light and stared in horror at a small bipedal reptile that glared back. It had a green in colour frog-like body and a large, round head. It had spines running from the top of the head to the end of its back. Two small fangs protruded from its mouth. They were each about an inch long. It wore a cute and curious, but menacing expression.

The creature stood about a metre tall. As soon as it saw me, it jumped to the shower curtain, scrambled up it with amazing agility and perched on the horizontal bar that held it up. Immediately, the bar snapped of the wall bringing the creature down into the bathtub. As it struggled to regain its feet, I picked up the pole and struck the creature twice on the rump.

The creature hopped out of the tub. It proceeded under my legs, out of the lavatory, and into my sleeping quarters. I grabbed my torch, and followed it into the third floor hallway. I entered the hallway In time to see it turn a corner eight doors down. I ran to the corner and found that it was gone. I went back to my sleeping quarters and stayed awake all night, in the case it should return, but in vain, the night passed uneventfully from there.

Could this perhaps be El Chupacabra I have heard stories about?
