Event Description:
Hello, I would like to share an experience with you about a hunting trip myself and two friends were on 20/12/03.

The area I'm telling about is approximately 19 kilometers south west of Neville, in the pine's plantations. We were on a camping / pig hunting trip for one week.

On one particular morning we were up early to have a cuppa and breakfast and prepare for that days hunt. We had our dogs ready and were about to head off to a spot we had sighted pigs the previous day, it was a 3 kilometer hike, we got to our location what was a large wallo (waterhole) and sat close by waiting for any sign of pig.

Well about five minutes later our oldest dog Bonnie, was going crazy wanting to get off the leash.  Soon after the rest of the dogs went crazy so we let them off to look about.  They were gone for about five minutes when my friend Cameron said he heard a groaning yell, myself and our other friend never heard it, but the event we saw shortly after I will never forget. 

Our dogs were onto something big and as we went to check it out the dogs had a medium size figure bailed up in a large blackberry bush. As we approached it, it tore out at us. The dogs were holding onto it's shaggy fur. It ran right to us screaming in a deafening roar, Cameron yelled "Jesus what is it?"

Well, what we were face to face with was a yowie/ big foot/ yeti whatever they're called. It shook our dogs off like they were not even there, and ran into the forest at a fast pace, we called the dogs off and regathered our thoughts. 

What we had encountered was at the time frightening, damn frightening.  We were back at camp talking about the event and all told it as we saw it.

A few hunters from nearby towns have witnessed similar sight's, but I think we saw the true thing face to face. 

We reported the sighting to the National Parks and Wildlife and they are investigating the matter.  It's something we will never forget.....

Event Description:
There is an area of Holston Mountain, that is privately owned. My friends and I ride ATV's in the area.

On one occasion, a black bear was spotted. One individual began dumping bread and scraps at the location, near a water source, in hopes of keeping the bear in the area.

On July 27, 2003, a couple of friends and myself were riding ATV's in that area at dusk. The creature that we disturbed was no bear. It was approximately 6-7 feet tall athletically built and fast. It was a biped and dark in color. Specific color couldn't be determined as it was getting dark. It didn't show signs of aggression and has not been sighted since. However, we don't ride at night much anymore.

Event Description:
Me and my family lived in a trailer house, 2 miles south of Vian, which we called Vian Bottoms, as it was about 2 to 3 miles north of the Arkansas River.

On February  5, 1996, around 5:00 PM, I was hunting .. mostly scouting around from being bored at the house. 

I was a few 100 yards south east of the house, by this little pond, with a big tree beside it. I was looking for animal tracks when I heard a noise on side of a hill.

I saw a couple of horse's running up the hill like something had scared them, so I started looking toward the direction from the way they was coming from. As I looked across the field at the edge of the tree line, I saw a black figure moving in an out of the trees, It looked to be about 8 feet tall very huge, muscular build, with very long stringy hair, and walked upright on two legs.

I knew it was Bigfoot when I saw it. As I watched it, my hair started standing on end. All I had was an  old single shot 22, it was about 80 to 90 yards away. It just keep going in and out of the trees.

I watched it for at least 6 minutes or so then it stopped and stood in the field for about 30 seconds or so, like it heard something. Then it stepped back in the trees and was gone.

So I liked halfway ran to the house. I haven't been back there since then. I've been thinking about going back down there in the fall when it cools off  .. just might see it again.

Event Description:
This is the first time I have told this story to any one other than my family. It happened a long time ago, so bear with me.

I was out with my friends having a couple of beers after work. After about an hour or two I decided to head for home. I lived on a small farm outside Kansas City. There's a long dirt road that went up to my house. It was 2 miles long.

Then my car broke down. It was old so I left it and decided to walk home. I was really tired and was a little drunk. I was walking to my house when I heard a loud "roar" sound. I then stopped and looked in a field to my left.

There I saw something run into the forest, which was beyond the fields. I thought nothing of it, I thought it was just a deer. So I continued to walk home, then once again I heard the "roar." This time it was not as far away, so I looked into the field once again but saw nothing.

This made me very scared, so I started to walk a little faster. I wasn't looking up but just at the ground. Until right in front of me I heard something move, so I looked up. There I had seen a thing. It was not a man and it wasn't a bear or any other animal. We looked at each other for at least 10 seconds before either of us moved. It was only 20 yards from me, so I got a good look at it. It had hands and feet like a man but his whole body was covered in hair.

Then he made a move, and I ran. I looked over my shoulder and I saw him walking cautiously back into the fields. I didn't stop running till I got home. There I locked all the doors and got my gun out. I stayed inside the whole night. I didn't want to get near another one of those things again.

In the morning I went to the spot of my experience and found big footprints. I also went into the fields and found the many stalks of corm were gone and someone had broke in to my chicken coup and all but two were gone and many more footprints. I was very scared and I have not gone into the woods since. So that was my encounter with Bigfoot.
